Lol they completely removed the warhound?
Never thought they would do that but am quiet happy with it.
Am hoping for a tank buf myself,maybe give it a machine gun for 5 damage/sec ontop of its main gun , wich can shoot at 0-6 range when in siege mode, or something like that.
Terran should at least get some replacement for the warhound, or make widow mine viable.

what they mean with "30 damage+massive" ?

@below, ty, i saw it already in the post below the op now.
Lol at all the people beeing so happy with return of the carrier btw, noone did make carriers and now they happy they return.
Not to happy with the small patches not mentioned, guess raven hsm was needed but bc can use a damage buff i think to ground, it was not that imbalanced.

It should read "30 damage + 20 damage (massive)".

Amazing patch notes, I thought OP was trolling when I first saw it. Hoping for damage/splash buff for either tanks or mines to get mech work better. Neither are really scary unless having 200/200 army.

Now I just need a beta key. :p

What they should introduce to all races in order to add some more depth: add another level of advanced buildings, only available when a Racial Tech Control Point is secured.
You would then be able to create advanced units like the warhound (and give them another purpose) from units that are currently merely used, to upgrade these selected units to this last new level. The loss of the TCP would mean the loss of the superunit. Battles would then become even more strategical, particularly in the late games.

Imagine the Golliath morph into a Mega Warhound, Nydus Worm into a Nydus Sieger, Carrier into a Planetary Stalker...

you should ad patch 2.0.0.23271, as it has some unit fixes.
"Show me the Raven" ~ HMS turns into a mini-nuke, going twice as fast and doing 250 damage over a large area.

You are saying adding things like that would make the game more strategical, but if you think about it, doesn't it kinda make it less strategical?
If you add something like that, wouldn't like all strategies go towards either counter the other player getting that point or getting it yourself?

Adding to the games strategy should be small subtle things that can be discovered over a greater span of time, not a big "jack-in-a-box".

I'm surprised nobody's really talking about the reaper vision thing.

Having a single reaper in an early game bioball to allow everything to shoot up cliffs would actually be quite scary.

Also, the mothership core cost went down from 100/100 to 50/50

Something that isn't in the patch changes and is a pretty big deal early on.

In what situations?


It lets you clear any Tanks or Hellions hiding on the ledges or behind the ramps pre Medivacs, the ability is really fucking good.

Yeah and early Marine Marauder pressure against Protoss would not be able to hide with FF on ramp so easily if there was 1 reaper in there with them so they can shoot up on the high ground.
