Okay, really though, are you positive that you aren't referring to some of the BW campaigns? Because there was absolutely nothing in SCI that couldn't be handled by massing a single unit type just like SCII. BW on the other hand became a lot more manageable when mixing units and utilizing flanking manouevers. That little uprising against Aldaris on Shakuras for example had you up against reavers, zealots, dark templars, carriers and a probe, often all at once. It actually required some planning to defeat it unlike 9/10 terran missions for SCII which was Mass marine and medic, occasionally supplemented by missions unit of choice. I'm also pretty sure that TFT is Blizzards toughest SP campaign, at least post WC2 that is.

I would compare the sc/bw campaigns to normal difficulty in sc2. The sc2 campaign is quite easy on brutal except for the last level, but even that level is easy if you know the correct way to play it. edit: @Billy, the Aldaris mission you are talking about is ridiculously easy to beat with mass dragoons. That level shouldnt require any thought whatsoever. Just macro up a few control groups of goons, then a-move to victory.

And "All In" on brutal is no cakewalk, took me 4-5 tries before I finally beat it...though I didn't tech to the PF like I should have I guess.

Also, yeah the missions do get harder and harder, at a pretty consistent rate actually. When you get closer to the end, especially the last few levels, it is significantly harder than the beginning. But of course the beginning was easy on purpose to get new players to learn the game. Lol nope rauders don't get stim xD

Although I picked ghosts instead of spectres because the mission was funn (played the Tosh one for liek 5 mins then aborted, I hate missions where you're not in control of everything) and now I find Spectres have god like spells ![]() The only mission I didn't get first try so far has been the last protoss one where u defend until u kill 2500 zerg, first time I tried to keep the gold expo but then i realised I could just make a pylon wall at the top of the ramps and make a million collosi, but abandonned the Archives, might go back and try for the bonus on this one but I suspect I'd just have to make 3 pylon walls coupled with some well placed collosi anyway ... So yeah, good input guys ![]() Oh also, do I still get credit for those achievments which are like "Kill X units on hard" if I do it in brutal?

Sure you might need a couple of tanks and PF's to make the defence abit easier on "All-in" but other than that its not a problem. The hardest achievement (or rather the most boring/the one that takes the longest time to get) is in my opinion Lost Viking:Gold.
