Ah, i thought it was when Lewis came to the stage. Well, you're probably right!

It's not only the 49er who got a questionable call against them. For me the call for Akins, who completely missed a FG, was a questionable decision too. That's why it came down to the performance on the field, not ref calls.

It didn't boil down to that ref call. There wasn't only 1 second left on the clock. They could've still failed to score if it was called. They could've scored and the ravens could've gotten a field goal or touchdown with the minute 45 remaining and three timeouts. Just eat it, sounds bad when you try to blame refs for your team losing.

gg Ravens. Time to go to bed, gn TLers. It was fun!

I am just calling out hootsushi on calling the niners first half terrible when the ravens played pretty bad in the second half. You cant say a team "deserves" something based on a single half of the game. It is the whole game.
Yes, it is entirely possible that they wouldnt have gotten it or that the ravens couldve returned it for a TD and I dont deny that. I just hate when he says they lost because they "didnt play up to their potential in the first half".

That jello commercial. Salt in the wound.

I wish the refs had called that right anyway
The first half saw some very close play, as people here have mentioned (besides the utterly stupid d on the kickoff return), where the 49ers had a lot of bad luck and what have you, and a pretty cool comeback in the 2nd half. Shame that there was the no call, we can only wonder what would have happened had that been called.

I could feel the entire nation cringing whenever this commercial aired.

Good way for ray lewis to go out, but his age has been showing for a while (just look at his form and stats from this game compared to 13 yrs ago). Kaepernick definitely proved himself, but I just hope he won't end up like Fitzgerald where everyone is talking about him in the post season but then is completely forgotten. (doubt that will happen as the current 49ers are a way more complete team than the Cardinal's squad a couple years back)

Had the game been perfectly called up to that point (which I will guarantee it was not), then you would have a case for saying that this single call made the ultimate, unfair difference in the game. But that wasn't the case.

I totally agree with you that the ravens played a horrible second half compared to the first. But in the end their whole performance was better than 49er's, that's why they won. What's so hard to understand?

Such an awful commercial. Infact almost all the commercials were meh this year except for the Samsung one and the farmer one.

If you're talking about the running into the kicker call, it was more than justified. The ravens were lucky that they didn't get a personal foul on it
