The power outage completely destroyed the momentum the ravens gained, plus the questionable call for a second try for Akers? Look, I'm not saying the ravens were at a complete disadvantage, power outage happens and every team has to accept that; it's just pure fanboyism to say the 49er lost, because of a ref call. They lost because they played not up to their potential in the first half.

(I'm not sure I'd call Flacco "elite" quite yet tho.) Refs called a good game overall. I might be biased, but I think it was a fair "no call" at the end. Their job isn't to throw the flag at EVERYTHING, it's more like being police. You don't pull over everyone for speeding, but you do pull over the ones that are being a bit worse or dangerous.

So how did they deserve the win with that same logic?

Well, I guess most people got what they wanted. A niners comeback with the ravens winning in the end.

EDIT - unfortunately, people are going to bitch aboutt he more obvious ones.

The game was affected by the no call, but it wasn't decided by it. A lot of people have been mulling around that he's gonna get Drew Brees money as far as talking heads go.
