I do agree with what madrid are doing because all of these players, with the exception of xabi alsonso, really aren't world class as we've found out this year. The manager they will get seems to be ancelotti, which i disagree with. I really think they should go as hard as they can for klopp, or maybe even bring back jupp heynckes. Don't think ancelotti will be a great manager.
The biggest question for madrid seems to be whether they keep ronaldo. Personally, i'd let him go. He can't be replaced, as there is only one player in his class, but keeping him will cost like 50 million pounds because of the beckham rule in spain. With that money and the money they'll get from selling the above players, I'd go and try to get bale, cavani/falcao, zabaleta, and get some more depth.
For barca, I really don't think they're far away from continuing their reign of dominance(besides this year). Sell alexis, villa, fabregas, afellay, dos santos, alves, and idk who else. I really hope they don't buy neymar, although it looks more likely by the day. He won't fit because he doesn't know how to play tactically, which is what screwed fabregas at barca, is an overrated finisher, and don't bring the physique barca need.
With the money to buy neymar, i'd go for falcao. He'd be a great LF at barca, and considering messi plays that false nine and drops so deep, he could drift inside and really play CF. Tito doesn't have as much attitude as guardiola and would probably get along with these kinds of players fine.
It still astounds me how barca haven't bought a defender all these years. Hummels would be a perfect fit for them because of his passing and ball control.
With fabregas going and xavi getting older, i'd try and get gundogan.
One of the concerns i have with the dortmund players is whether they're actually good, or if its because klopp always has them in the right places(sahin).
Well, these are just a few of my thoughts on the two biggest teams in spain
This isn´t football manager
The roster of Real isn´t that bad or old that you need to rebuild it. Maybe another defender and another offensive threat to give Ronaldo more space.
With the coaching problems well its known that mou loves his mindgames with the press and with his players. Which works for a couple of seasons if you have success but it is backfiring in the long run. Normally this is all tactics to get pressure of the team by getting the press to focus on him and not on the team but i think with the demotion of Cassilias for no reason (i know he was injured but he is still one of the best) he basically said that this season is his last shot with Real.
Heynkes will end his carrier 99% after this season and i dont think that klopp is the right coach for the environment of Real.
I agree on not buying Neymar. I personally think that he is pretty overated yes, he is good but good in the Brasilian league. And paying 50+ million € on somebody who never played a champions league game is an enormous risk. And from a roster flexibility point of view he dont fit. He is another small, technically almost perfect player that can handle the ball really well but has no physical presence at all. That was the main problem against Bayern, they were just no match for the physical superiority of Schweinsteiger/Martinez.
Guardiola tried to fix that a couple of years ago with Ibra which unfortunately doesn´t worked.
Haha, i wish it was football manager.
But in all seriousness, I agree that madrid's team isn't bad, but thats not where they want to be. With the amount of money they spend, they want to win every thing they can every year. But they're not going to be winning anything, not even la liga, with all these players going.
If these players leave, they have absolutely no depth at CB(varane and ramos). Pretty much no one at the fullback position except marcelo. One defensive midfielder in sami khedira. Lack of talent at the wing positions unless they sign ronaldo and an inconsistent benzema up front. Oh, and a goalkeeper controversy for the new manager.
For me, that's a rebuilding team. The only position they're good at is the creative midfield with modric and ozil.
and i don't think its 99% certain that heynckes will retire. maybe like 65%? i think he's pissed that guardiola is coming in and might try to prove bayern wrong. Klopp, eh, yeah, maybe he won't fit, but this guy is a crazy good manager, especially considering that the whole dortmund team cost less than kaka.
I think Barcelona and especially Real could have some problem to sign up the (young) very best. With the finance crisis in spain (remember Ronaldo is basically owen by a spain bank that was bailed out by the eu) they can´t just throw money left and right like they did.
Heynkes said it after the CL semi final that its time to go. He is 67 and in this season he could win all possible titles with Bayern (Bundesliga is won with a couple of records, ). Not the worst way to retire....
And with Klopp, i don´t know. Yes he won 2 national championships and is in the CL final but it feels more like he was the right guy at the right place and time. Not sure if he could work in another environment.
I don't think it's a matter of "right place right time". By all accounts, the Dortmund team that won in the past two years still wasn't as good as the Bayern squad. Klopp does wonders there and could probably do well other places.
The thing to note is that Klopp has repeatedly told the media that he absolutely will not leave Dortmund after this year.
I dont want to take away anything from klopp, he did and does an amazing job. But like every coach you need talent in the first place to be successful. In Dortmund he has an environment that fits perfect for his style, but at "big" clubs like Chelsea, Real or Bayern its more about politics and how to handle 22 super star egos. And i´m not sure if he is capable of that yet, remember he is just 46.
"Just 46"
Never thought I'd here that.
Yeah seriously. I mean AVB is only 35, and managed a "big" club like Chelsea at age 33 (not that Spurs are a small club at all).

"only"? With the resources he had, 5th and 6th place is half a miracle...

From being unbeaten in so many games, to being league leaders and in 2nd place for most of the season, to go out in the playoffs sucks so hard My family is in disarray, once again this year.

Luiz is scumbag#1.
Yeah, where's all the busquets haters now? Equally scummy imo. Funny, now all the english fans are no where to be found and worse off they cheer him on for it and make laughs from it... lol such hypocrites
how long have you barca fans been waiting for some ammunition to use against the EPL/Chelsea fans? anyone who doesnt blindly support barca and has a pair of eyes can see they are one of the worse teams when it comes to cheating/playacting. im surprised your club didn't turn on the sprinklers again after Bayern won in the camp nou.
The thing you guys are missing is that Luiz didn't actually dive. Busquets is a diving cock. Luiz doesn't dive. He just went down to Raphael's CLEAR angry kick. Nothing wrong with tweaking the moment to get Raph the red card if it was Raph's attack which was in the wrong. Busquets gets people carded for doing nothing wrong. Raph deserved a red, for kicking in anger.
