If you reduce their HP it means that they become harass units and not these bulky core army units that also just happen to destroy mineral lines in seconds (and marines can actually kill them in a timely manner). This is fine, units like the reaper exist as a harass/scout unit and are not made for actual fights. If you make them 75 gas they don't become disposable harass units. You could still harass but losing them is a big deal. This is fine, units like the banshee and oracle exist as harass units that can do a lot of damage but losing them is a big deal. Removing shade entirely just makes them stocky combat units. This is fine, units like the marauder exist as bulky combat units (ignore the fact that their bonus damage is against a different armoy type). Warp prism + adept is still good at killing workers, but you won't be able to shade to another mineral line. | ||
