Yup, I think they need to re-add the siege research.
I really don't think the tank needed that buff to begin with :x I mean, why? And I'm Terran.
To hold off early Zerg roach attacks I think is the reasoning.
Good luck to all the zergs trying to punish terran when they have mines in place AND sieged tanks behind all their depots and whatnot.
New standard will be 3x orbital in the early game i think, zerg will have real trouble punishing Terran greed now.
nothing new it's already the standard. just no more stupid roach pushes

Very pleasant to see MVP doing well.
Happy for LG-IM, proving to LG that continuing the sponsorship was a good idea.
is mvp first in this group? if he loses 0:2 to tlo and dream wins 2:0 against stephano, isnt he first? :S
I didn't even do the math but he is definitely first in his group because there's literally no way he will lose 0:2 to TLO.

not really lol, top10 gm in hots beta was like 7 terrans and every pro knows that changes are needed for zvt
even all pros in every interview say zerg is the weakest and terran the strongest. I dont see how anyone can deny it either...
whos denying? the exact same thing happened for the last year or WoL, everyone KNEW how zergs were stronger and nothing was done to stop it...terrans get a good time in BETA and we're back to zerg tears 24/7?

I think it's entirely to early to really say anything yet. Zergs are still so used to the ez mode they had in WoL to be brutally honest. Give the top zergs some more time to work with the new units and changes. If in 1-2 months after release Zerg are getting stomped out, then call imba.
Players whining about balance and crying for blizzard to nerf/buff to early/quickly is what led WoL to it's troubles near the end. Give time for players to figure shit out and learn how to actually counter things before saying which race is weak and which isn't.
On the plus side, at least the tournament has fairly even race distribution progressing (I imagine Mvp, Stephano and Dream will advance) so we'll see a good range of matchups in the bracket.

Terran has been unable to punish Zerg greed for almost a year now.
Zerg will have to come up with something new to punish terran greed now, not just mass up one unit, attack and expect GG. During the 1/1/1 all in period v P Terran at least had to do some work for their win.
So Terran was unable to punish Zerg greed, but Zerg needs to be able to punish Terran greed? Your bias is showing through your tough exterior hide : )

This... Terran is simply too safe after carelessly losing reapers/hellions with their free siege more and widow mines. I love it that terran can put some pressure on early game again, but zerg should be able to counter pressure
Those were a lot of units Mvp sacked to do that, in cost at least just as much as 19 drones. Since he lost all those units and Stephano made so much roaches he should be at least do a bit of damage back, because Mvp can do that pressure and still go for greedy 3 cc's and double ups early. But 4 mines and a siege tank hold of 15 roaches quite easy. In WoL mvp would have had to lift his nat to hold that probably
