It won't reach there.
Koreans should 3-0.
Just look at SC2 history, Koreans literally win everything.

With those out of the way, let's take a look at the more equal matchups: Squirtle vs Nerchio - Nerchio has the edge here, mainly due to the fact that his ZvP is disturbingly strongh, while Squirtle is slumping and not really someone you'd consider a PvZ specialist. If we had the Squirtle from earlier this year, he would likely be the favourite, but we don't, and this is PvZ, a very unforgiving matchup. Squirtle will need to bring his absolute best play here, or Nerchio will likely roll over him. DRG vs Scarlett - There was a time where DRG was the absolute master of this matchup, perfectly solidified by him beating the original ZvZ master NesTea. But since then, DRG has fallen off quite a bit in this matchup, while in general also having suffered a slight reduction in his dominance across the board, and gained a newfound streak of inconsistency. These days, it may not even be incorrect to say it's a problematic matchup for for him, but that's against his fellow Koreans (4 wins, 6 losses plague his last 10 Korean ZvZs). Where does Scarlett fall compared to the likes of Roro, Effort and Leenock? It's hard to tell exactly, but from what we can gather, Scarlett is in the absolute highest echelon of foreign ZvZ, she has torn through any non-Korean she's come across in many clean sweeps. So where does that put her? Well, that depends on how close in skill you consider foreigners and Koreans, and especially the many NA players she has fill up her ZvZ history, but a good estimate is way below Roro/Effort/Leenock, and a tiny bit below the current average of DRG. In other words, she has a chance. She's not directly favoured, but Scarlett may pull something out of her hat, and if DRG takes her to the lategame, he just may find the odds turning against him. MC vs Stephano - Stephano has a record of 8 wins and 9 losses against MC, where half his losses are almost a year old, with the wins being more recent. Normally, Stephano is favoured against MC, but MC is likely quite happy with the Bo1 format here, which gives him a good chance to surprise Stephano.

There are two matchups that should have a clear Korean favourite: Life > Naniwa, and Seed > Lucifron (I don't care what people think about Seed currently, but Lucifron doesn't have very impressive PvT, and Seed has too many clever build orders - I think Lucifron deals badly with things going out of the ordinary, but even in a standard game Seed should win easily - Seed is a different calibre of player, even if he can be inconsistenst against Korean opponents.) Granted MC is not in his best shape at the moment, neither is Stephano. Given stephano's recent performance, I'd give MC the slightest edge here IMHO.

How about you look at the last Korea vs the World The skill difference was much smaller at the beginning of sc2 progaming, not to mention that Korea still won.
