I think Scarlett and Nerchio has a shot. Korea wins either way.

So apparently Liquid's player manager Robin "Bumblebee" Nymann is going to be the World Team coach? I hope he prepared for this and did not play DotA2 all the time.

Nah, he already defended himself on Reddit against all the Dota2 accusations and Artosis wishes. I think the foreigner team should be fine with him.

Damn I am so excited for this. I am really looking forward to Squirtle v. Nerchio and Life v. Naniwa. I think the foreigners actually have a chance at winning this, but I doubt they will.

What exactly is he going to do tho, 5 bo1's (unless I'm wrong) compared to an all kill format where the coach plays a much bigger role.

Koreans win first three and its over (or do they play it all out)

Koreans win easy with a lot of cheese, no reason to show real games.

The 5 bo1 format is only day one of the WC. They will also play all-kill format at later day and after that, an ace match if they're tied 1-1 at that point. At least that's what I read at liquipedia earlier today.

I think the chance of that happening is smaller than 1%.

I'm sad that my favorite Terran player, MVP, couldn't play and got replaced by Squirtle. However, I am happy that Nerchio doesn't have to play against MVP as he would crush Nerchio as well as any foreigner hopes.

Seed > Lucifron
Scarlett > DRG
Nerchio > Squirtle
Life > Naniwa
Stephano > MC

3-2 foreigners.

Sorry Tommy, but DRG hasn't won 100% of his games lately. There's no way someone like that could be a favourite.
