I can understand a player suddenly hitting his stride and realizing his true potential after a long period of terrible results.. But I cringe at the prospect that the best/consistent players can be defeated in such a dominant fashion by inconsistent, relatively much worse players, with preparation alone. There needs to be a stronger filter in place, like macro/economy management mechanics, that reduces the chance for an upset. The better player today won. There does not need to be any stronger filter, if you donate all your Templar to a player when going Templar before Colossus, and get out multitasked, you lose. There's nothing else about it.

Won't matter imo. Flash is the elephant leader. His transition was the most anticipated. He is the symbolism for the storm to come. THE Elephant in the Room. If he dies to an relatively unknown player like this...yeah what Fionn said.

Someone should check how often your predictions turns out to be true though, would be nice not predictions it's the probability of who will win with the probability percentages made with a program he wrote, I believe?

Dream beat Rain in a series of multitasking-focused, mechanically demanding games. The fuck more do you want? It wasn't 'lol I chose the right all-ins', the same shit probably would have happened in these circumstances in BW. Guy who is practicing hard in a good environment > guy who has been travelling a ton. It's not rocket science, and it's not the games fault -_-

If you look at those games again you'll see that Rain did a lot of small and even some bigger mistakes he normally doesn't do. Dream played well and Rain didn't. Maybe Rain couldn't practice that much after MLG or something but he was definitely off today. The better player still wins in SC2, that's why there are dominant players like Mvp who win again and again and again. Today Rain just played worse then Dream. And he wouldn't have deserved to win a game when playing worse. I think you agree with that, don't you?
