Kespa does not look good in any way for that and hopefully rain isn't the one being punished for their decisions

Agreed. But sadly, due to the MLG-KeSPA partnership, they had to agree. They should have notified gom well in advance like they already knew instead of 1-2 days before his match was scheduled to be played. Can't wait for this elephant business to be over with so that our fanbases can get back to hating each other. we never stopped hating each other. I distinctly remember a disturbing number of T1 icons rooting for Flash during his code A debut. And KT fans rooted for Rain. Fuck, I rooted for Rain. Me. EDIT: YAY FLASH

I'm not saying he did it, but it would be a lot easier than having to play through the entirety of Code A and potentially U&D matches.

I very much doubt it, to be honest, unless he somehow wins Blizzcup (i'm guessing he's going to be invited as an OSL winner and the WCS asia winner) and gets a seed based on that result, but it's quite a slim possibility.

Picked apart by awesome multitasking. I would say Rain just didn't have enough defense and Dream really well took advantage of it with multiprong attacks. Isn't this the exact same thing as getting outplayed? Outplayed it's like Rain is loosing because having less skills. Imo it's more Dream hitting a good timing with the right composition. Damn it's hard to admit Rain has been outplayed by a low tier player this night. Dream was really not looking low tier tonight though. He played really well. Sure, but it's the first feat of this kind he pulled iirc. I remember him appearing here and there and sometimes losing series a bit closer than you thought he would against good players, but that's all. Here, he 2-0'ed convincingly Rain, which is somewhat really honorable ! If he keeps this going, then he'll climb the tier, that's what I'm implying by this. I agree with this. But reading comments here, it looks like Dream had a better multitask (which might be the case), winning the game because of his total dominance in micro and macro (what I call ouplay) and that's where I agree. On the second game Rain did make a few mistakes but his loss was most of all due to him not reading the situation well enough beforehand, therefore not preparing well enough, therefore not being able to deal with it efficiently. In such a short game, this is something that can happen, even to the best players. It's not like Rain was looking that bad compared to Dream. On the other hand , the first game was quite long and pretty close. The first game was long but Rain made many mistakes in it too. His biggest mistake in that game was sending 5 high templars to their death in the middle of the map, forgetting to pull them back with the rest of his army. The english observer missed it but the Korean observer obviously didn't because you could hear the Korean casters go loud at that moment. I didn't say he didn't make any mistake, but in the end the game was close so it is not really what I call being "totally outplayed". It was one big mistake that costs him the game. Not that it is unfair, I mean he deserved to lose because he did this blunder, but I don't call that being outplayed. In fact he was really doing a great harass with his HT drops at the same time.
