But to do that he needs replenishable units or units that just don't die. Against Zerg everything on the ground will eventually get cleaned up, so you can't use ghosts very well (they're kinda slow too). Even tanks are a bit hard to keep alive with MKP's style, that's why he doesn't make them in very high numbers (he could siege them earlier however ;D). In the air, medivacs are kind of a good choice, they're fast, and can be reactored, so kinda replenishable and you can keep them alive easily even after being cleaned up. In the end it just makes sense that all MKP produces is marine, marauders, hellions, medivacs and some tanks, that's essentially every tradable-ish unit Terran has. If you want to play the ghosts/raven/mech/whatever slow push game, you need a much more turtlish style than what MKP likes to play. The fact that MKP doesn't make PF's is also related to this btw. Whether this is a good TvZ style or not I don't know, but it's certainly good enough against lower Zergs than Symbol for someone with MKP's mechanics. it is a great strategy but once BL are on the field you need to use your mobility advantage so reapers or medicvac drops were the way to go ...at least until he had double digit vikings

You get dropped to the 3rd round of Code A. If you win you are directly back into code S. if you lose, you go to up and downs

Terran has been handling the absurd Z and P lategame for nearly a year now and have slowly but surely had all of their early pressure abusive builds nerfed into nothing. TvP is now almost universally decided by the outcome of a 10 minute push. TvZ used to be decided by 3rd base denial into an awesome late game. You did not have forums full of terrans going "LOL L2P" because the amazing terrans at GSL were not representative of the experience except for a very brief period where terran could a move into a protoss army because not a single one of you bothered to build templar. Terrans have not had it "easy" for years. We've just had arguably the best player in the world playing our race. That's quite wrong. But it was largely a L2P thing with some somewhat minor nerfs, it just took a very long time to develop. More than the month terran has been doing bad.

Excellent points. I think he can adapt his style in time. He used to be the guy who was known to only make marines.
