Will Taeja be there for their next match? Well TLO almost qualified, lost 1-2 in the finals, so please inform yourself before making such harsh judgments. Jinro and Haypro are IMO good players, but not great, and just good is simply not enough against the brutal Korean competition. Haypro's pretty good, I think he will rise to the occasion a few times. Jinro can definitely fit into the team as a sniper (and they say that someday the Gorilla will rise again, to feast on the bamboo of the... ok, this isn't working )

SO what that TLO almost qualified? Remember Cyrix? (the awful player that Ret played against in GSL long time ago), he actually qualified for Code A, but fact remains still that he was awful player nad vanished quickly.
I dont hate TLO or anything - I am sorry to say that because guy was actually fun to watch during beta, but gameplay level is still increasing and in this new enviroment TLO skills are not up to par. The same holds true for Jinro and HayprO.
Liquid can choose one of two paths: became competitive SC2 team, or remain big family of young guys that like to play SC2. If they want to choose the first path they need to change their rooster quickly.

no, but TLO played really well. if someone qualfiies for code A by proxy 2 gating every game and winning vs someone qualifying for code a through long intense macro games who do you think is more impressive?

Realistically TL lacks both variety and quality to achieve higher goals in the GSTL. Out of the six players two have proven Code S quality, whereas I would rate Zenio more as a Code A calibre. TLO has the potential to reach upper Code A level within the next weeks but he is certainly lacking consistency. He shows a lot of effort however, so I`m optimistic about his development. Jinro/Haypro look pretty much out of shape and also seem to have a bad mindset (this is my assumption based on watching their streams). I think Ret/Sheth would be a welcome addition but they cannot guarantee points. If they really want to compete they might acquire at least one of the Ogs Terrans imo.

Fnatic only has two standouts as well in Oz and Alive though. The other Koreans aren't much ( if at all ) better than ToD or Nightend. The difference though is overall Fnatic has more depth in their lineup than TL.

uhm, ByuL is one of the up and coming Zergs, probably Top 5 ZvT in Korea, excellent Sniper and very strong Kr GM position.
Moon on LAN cant be underestimated either, he did beat Bomber, Naniwa, MC, Mvp etc...
I believe Fnatic has WAY better chances than Liquid in the GSTL.
Well we will have to wait and see for their match vs TSL.

@So what, he lost a very close 3rd game in his code A qualifier against a very decent opponent. So maybe he is not yet ready for Code A but he is showing promise overall if you consider his overall development and watch his ladder games. I don`t think that he is behind that much to the top Zergs in EU (of course Stephano is significantly better though).

that's not fair at all. there's mostly luck and randomness in the qualifiers. nobody breezes through stuff at their first try no matter how easy it looks for them.

Without Taeja, I would say ZeNex are big favorites.
Zenio hasn't been doing the best lately and is hovering around Code A~ish level. Jinro had to take on coaching duties and wasn't at his best. Haypro didn't even try to qualify for Code A, so I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't in the best shape. That leaves you with TLO and Hero. Both are great players, but you can't expect them to carry.
ZeNex just has a ridiculously deep line-up. The team could be considered the best at actually developing talent. Life, Harrier, and Xtreme were all coming off qualifying for Code A and Line just got into Code S. That isn't even mentioning Avenge and a few others who were inches away from qualifying for Code A this season.
ZeNex last season was a bridge between the Old ZeNex of Coca, Byun, Puzzle and the New ZeNex with their new stars. If they can keep Life, Harrier, Xtreme, etc., then they will become one of the best teams in Korea. They're all pretty inexperienced, but if they can get some confidence, don't be shocked if they make a run. Their 2nd place during the KSL wasn't a fluke.

Getting all-killed is hardly the end of the world, it happens to pretty much every team at some point (remember when QXC all-killed IM? Didn't send them to oblivion did it?)
Bear in mind also that this was the first time that they'd all played together as a team and that both TLP and Haypro have only just recently moved to Korea (so not had a great deal of Korea practise time) and they only had 5 players to chose from so they were really up against it from the outset.
This season is a sharp learning experience, its the proceeding seasons that will be a truer measurement of the team. Yeah, but at the same time, there's no point in trying to predict the future based on this one game, as a lot of people are trying to do. And if we are not allowed to weep and gnash our teeth when TL loses, then what's the point of being fans?
