How is that embarrassing? Life is a super good player, he has the potential to be top 3 zerg in the world.. Once HerO was taken out TL didn't stand much of a chance... No offence to the TL players. TL fanboys don't know much about other teams I guess. That's why it's embarrassing. In a team league, you should be able to use the strength of your team to snipe the best players on the opposing team. Life is unsnipeable. He has no weak match-up. Yes. Life, a player without any accomplishments is unbeatable for TL. I wonder what happens when they face some players with actual accomplishments. I hear NSHoSeo has a guy that won a GSL title at some point. A 5-1 loss to Zenex is embarrassing. If TL goes out of the tourney in two series, which seems very likely at this point, all it proves is that they didn't belong.
Life has been playing amazing for quite a while, he's regularly rank 1 GM on the Korean server. Also, someone that can get an all-kill is not someone you should look down on. Remember Taeja when he got his? People were calling him terrible, and look where he is now. Or Squirtle? Life played really really well, cause he is an amazing player.

Well Life is top 1 and 2 consistently on the KR GM. He was so close to getting Code S but he lost to JYP in the last set. Well he mention he has nerve issues but he definitely has the potential to be a top player.

Life played amazing. His build on entombed was godlike.

Damn, didn't want TL to win but didn't expect them to get STOMPED.

I don't even know why Liquid puts money into sending players like Haypro, Jinro and TLO to Korea. I don't think any of them will qualify for Code A ever and I would be suprised if they could take a game off of anyone in the GSTL (maybe TLO could snipe a terran, but that's it).
Will Taeja be there for their next match?
|
One of the way Liquid could pick up is to recruit more Korean players like Supernova, stc, etc. They need more skilled players, not celebrities or Community players or Family or whatever they called. For once, stop hyping and analyze the team power.
"Foreigner team, Korean mercernary?" who cares of this stupid pride, the question is "Do you want to win or get crushed?".
Until Liquids changed their mindset, GSTL basically out of reach for them.

It's just crazy to see all the bandwagon you see when a player or a team lose, it immediately becomes the worst player or worst team on the planet if you read the LR thread .....
I completely disagree with you guys, and I'm pretty sure with Taeja and a TLO being able to play other match ups, this match would have been different.

Yeah so TLO was a game away from getting Code A a few days ago. Lost 2-1 in the finals to qualify. But otherwise...

Uh wtf. ALL THEIR LAST PICKUPS HAVE BEEN KOREANS WHO ARE PERFORMING WELL.

Well TLO almost qualified, lost 1-2 in the finals, so please inform yourself before making such harsh judgments. Jinro and Haypro are IMO good players, but not great, and just good is simply not enough against the brutal Korean competition.

Yikes, glad I didn't watch this...

They are the only foreign team with a decent chance to go at least through first groupstage. fnatic is no more a foreign team than FXO korea is At least they have 2 foreign players on the team. who will contribute likely jack all to be completely honest...maybe a single win here and there, but will be sparse

Still technically a foreign team, the clan is from Australia.
Also they have Foreigners, tho we prolly wont see much of them in the GSTL.

Ironic, because this is the best their team has ever been.

Wow, some people need to get a grip.
Getting all-killed is hardly the end of the world, it happens to pretty much every team at some point (remember when QXC all-killed IM? Didn't send them to oblivion did it?)
Bear in mind also that this was the first time that they'd all played together as a team and that both TLP and Haypro have only just recently moved to Korea (so not had a great deal of Korea practise time) and they only had 5 players to chose from so they were really up against it from the outset.
This season is a sharp learning experience, its the proceeding seasons that will be a truer measurement of the team.
