bfh and thor is his standard build these days though. all other builds are gimmicky. nonetheless i think a gimmicky build will kill stephano in the regame. he survived the early game and was just about to reveal his midgame strategy to catch mkp off guard... now mkp knows that stephanos build for this map is weak in the early game.
All what KT currently needs is a Zerg and a second Terran

The real pitty is the fact that you can not reconnect into a SC2 game. Every ARTS/MOBA game has the option to reconnect. In this case the ref of MKP could just pause the game, Stephano reboot the PC and reconnect.

Even wc3, almost 10 years old, has the option to load the saved replay and restart from the moment of crash

If Blizzard is gonna continue to be stubborn about adding lan support, at least add some kind of system that allows players to reconnect in custom games. It's not rocket science. Their stubborness just ruined a game on one of the most hyped and anticipated matches in a mainstream tournament.

You can't reconnect in SC2 like you can in MOBA games, and even loading at the exact same time has problems: once you've had 3 minutes (or whatever) to think about what happened so far, you're no longer in the same state of mind as before.

Personally, I think a regame is the fairest solution even if reloading at a crash was possible. If you're actually better, you'll simply win again.

Not possible. It's better if they just implement lan support or any solution to make it easier on tournaments (such as tournament battle.net servers).

So? This can easily be remedied by making it autosave every 30 seconds or minute then giving the game maker a choice on which one to load.

Doesn't mean MKP was ahead (although I think he was slightly ahead, but no way could you give him the game there).

Doesn't really matter much anyway, as mech is kinda all about the engagement and a lot less so about the way there. They were both relatively even, so if MKP has good engagement he wins no matter, if he doesn't, he looses no matter.

Still think a regame will be a lot worse for MKP seeing as he revealed his strategy, while Stephano just really just responded to it.

Stephano wasn't ahead.... Hellions aren't just for killing workers... He took down many roaches too and probably MKP got ahead with the resources lost since roaches cost gas.

I agree, highly doubt anyone would make a big deal out of it but he should probably just leave it out especially when it is a computer issue

Blizzard's claiming a fairly nice sum from every major tournament so it's their obligation to implement a feature to resume any game after a disconnect/crash. Unless they do so they have to live with the fact that they suck ass.
