stephano lost like 7-11 roaches and marineking invested in blue flames and lost like 6, both getting their 3rd and still macro'in up. i don't see how you can give the game to either side.....

If Blizzard is gonna continue to be stubborn about adding lan support, at least add some kind of system that allows players to reconnect in custom games. It's not rocket science. Their stubborness just ruined a game on one of the most hyped and anticipated matches in a mainstream tournament.

You can't reconnect in SC2 like you can in MOBA games, and even loading at the exact same time has problems: once you've had 3 minutes (or whatever) to think about what happened so far, you're no longer in the same state of mind as before.

Personally, I think a regame is the fairest solution even if reloading at a crash was possible. If you're actually better, you'll simply win again.

The game can be saved via BNet or on the other guy's computer. I don't see what the problem is anyways, the other guy is forced to sit there IN THE GAME that whole time, so it's not like the game disappeared.

Yes you can assume their game is well coded, which doesn't automatically mean a feature like that is oh so easily implemented though.
But yeah, if you think there aren't top Software Engineers working at the top of Blizzard - well then that's just foolish. Though their current BNet team may be the exception. A feature like that would be more than just a simple BNet implementation however.
