This is not the place to talk about LoL viewership.
This is also not a place to caster bash/balance whine/flame, etc.
Please don't argue about how many views LoL has, or which game is better, or we will be upset. (added page 174)
Also, lay off Scarlett please. (added page 227) |

So? This can easily be remedied by making it autosave every 30 seconds or minute then giving the game maker a choice on which one to load. Yeah so the game will lag every 30 seconds that will be awesome.
Storing tens of kilobytes (!) of data every 30 seconds would indeed require technology that just isn't there yet...

stephano lost like 7-11 roaches and marineking invested in blue flames and lost like 6, both getting their 3rd and still macro'in up. i don't see how you can give the game to either side.....

If Blizzard is gonna continue to be stubborn about adding lan support, at least add some kind of system that allows players to reconnect in custom games. It's not rocket science. Their stubborness just ruined a game on one of the most hyped and anticipated matches in a mainstream tournament. You can't reconnect in SC2 like you can in MOBA games, and even loading at the exact same time has problems: once you've had 3 minutes (or whatever) to think about what happened so far, you're no longer in the same state of mind as before. Personally, I think a regame is the fairest solution even if reloading at a crash was possible. If you're actually better, you'll simply win again.
You are so wrong on so many levels.

I don't see what the problem is anyways, the other guy is forced to sit there IN THE GAME that whole time, so it's not like the game disappeared.

Scarlett takes out Ddoro as well, she's good

Is there some technical reason why this could not work? I'm guessing it would be a huge resource investment for blizzard and it would rarely be used HUGE ? Are you kidding me ? No it wouldn't be a huge investment. It would be ridiculously easy to implement if their game is well coded, which we can assume it is. we can?
Yes you can assume their game is well coded, which doesn't automatically mean a feature like that is oh so easily implemented though. But yeah, if you think there aren't top Software Engineers working at the top of Blizzard - well then that's just foolish. Though their current BNet team may be the exception. A feature like that would be more than just a simple BNet implementation however.

Sorry to say but you don't understand Starcraft. MKP was going mech, not "mass blue flame hellions". MKP had the advantage.

The ultimate mind game from MKP would be to do the exact same build. Cause Stephano is probably going to think "he's not going to do the same thing twice".

I hope Kiwikaki makes it far like in IPL3.. Remember that stephano vs kiwi game? Abuse of Mothership to the max.

Siege marauders, dear god no.
