[IPL4] Day 1 Live Report - Page 310
| Forum Index > StarCraft 2 Tournaments |
This is not the place to talk about LoL viewership. This is also not a place to caster bash/balance whine/flame, etc. Please don't argue about how many views LoL has, or which game is better, or we will be upset. (added page 174) Also, lay off Scarlett please. (added page 227)

It's just so obnoxious they refuse to even work with tournaments to provide them with some sort of lan client. Nvm, just saw the posts about it being his computer. I still stand by my point though. ughhhhh, i really hate people that can't read at times like this. Stephano put off his headphones off before it was time out so it was obviously PC related. But please keep on going how it is Blizzards fault...

Autosave is tricky for RTS. Imagine you're dropped in the middle of an engagement. You're going back and boom you have to micro. Not possible. It's better if they just implement lan support or any solution to make it easier on tournaments (such as tournament battle.net servers).

Keep it client side and the computer is used for those resources. It's not that difficult to implement...already been done even.

Implementing the feature would cost less in the long run than if they keep allowing these re-games to happen over the course of SC2's life.

Even if it was a computer problem, it's still Battle.net 0.2 being fail. In HoN/DotA 2 there's a reconnect feature. You can easily pause the game and have a player reconnect without much of a hiccup. DotA 2 also saves the state of the game every 10-15 minutes. What's Blizzard's excuse? Too busy with Facebook intergration?

As a caster under contract of IGN it's a stupid idea by PainUser to diss Blizzard in an IPL tournament for damn obvious reasons. Don't hate me, I'm just saying...

Doesn't mean MKP was ahead (although I think he was slightly ahead, but no way could you give him the game there). And it was before zerg's finished by like 30-50 seconds. Which is standard. The game was even. I think the momentum was in Stephano's favor but that was really it. I don't see how you could make any argument that MKP was ahead besides he was getting a third, but Stephano had more drones.
