Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment.
In addition leave the usual out of this topic:
-Balance complaints -Map complaints -Stream complaints -Caster/player bashing -Off topic discussions
Logically continue this list with things that are obviously frowned upon. Enjoy the free and wonderful event with loads of games and coverage! |

same with tarson. what's up with them?
Tarson is inactive, doesn't play at the moment, according to Lalush in the Slayers vs Millenium thread.

Really hope a foriegner wins this... Preferably White-Ra or HuK... We need a North American in the Blizzard cup. HuK looked shaky in the games he's played so far. It might be jetlag, in which case a better showing is possible tomorrow. Sheth, on the other hand, looked good. He is a possibility. IdrA bombing out is, unfortunately, "standard" once again. IdrA looked really strong a month or two back when he won IEM Guangzhou and then 2-1'd Bomber. But then he went on a gradual slide into his current state of losing in every match-up.
It's pretty obvious now that Bomber was already on a gradual slide himself at that point. So really, I don't think Idra really returned to form all that much to begin with, as a LOT of weight was put into that series. Without that result, nobody would be touting Idra's "great comeback" with nearly as much force.

I'd give it to thorzain just, but his play really seems to be slipping. I do wonder if he's actually practicing as much as he was. I'm looking forward to seeing how Kas and Happy play later today, Kas seems in great form lately and i'd love to see him do well at a live event.
I'd love to see Kas actually win a tournament as prestigious as this too. Unfortunately he seems to have "MKP Disease" where he chokes at the quarters/semi's of most competitions. What? MKP doesn't choke (except maybe in his first final against NesTea) What about his two finals against MVP? He didn't choke, at least not in the second one since Mvp was just better. The first one I saw the games but can't remember them lol, Mvp was too good back then too

That being said, his strategies due seem very desperate a la a choking.

After I wrote that I realised it was the wrong analogy to use. I was referring to him failing at the last hurdle against MKP in the GSL though yeah. I dunno what it is, but he seems to be a player that does really well, only up to a certain point. That's a really vague statement to make I know, but it makes sense to me haha.

And TvT is definitely not adapted at all to MKP's style. No wonder it's his worst matchup.

SeleCT is korean, and plays in a Europe based team. He now lives in Korea and plays on that ladder exclusively. Yeah, best NA Terran indeed.
Puma is actually a more valid choice, if we go by SeleCT's standards.

That IdrA has gone away again now it seems, and we have to endure his shadow for the time being, an emotionally immature mentally unstable creature. Its so sad because an IdrA in control of his faculties is a match for anyone in the world in my opinion.

Would restreaming audio only be breaking any rules? :/ There are always people complaining about not having bandwidth and so on so I set up a restream with just results on screen and then audio from the DH stream. Is that okay?

That's not true, we have KawaiiRice who qualified for the champ brackets in 4 MLGs this year and is a mechanical beast, Major who is solid as a player, and QXC who has been in a bit of a slump, but not lets forget his GSTL all kill 4 months ago.

Last two were dominations again. It really wasn't that close, although it was a good series.
