Please stop the tournament comparison discussion. Especially regarding players their runs (Stephano seems to be the current topic). Stay on topic and stick to the games. Consequences will be met out to further derailment.
In addition leave the usual out of this topic:
-Balance complaints -Map complaints -Stream complaints -Caster/player bashing -Off topic discussions
Logically continue this list with things that are obviously frowned upon. Enjoy the free and wonderful event with loads of games and coverage! |

I'm putting bets right now on DRG or PuMa to take the tourney. HerO less so only because there are a lot of good zergs left over. Writing off all the known Koreans was an obvious mistake. The known Koreans have been playing very strong and haven't lost any series to non-Koreans. Stephano, Thorzain, SeleCT, Sen, elfi and Idra are all out despite being thought to be potential winners. Lol come on, nobody actually thought Thorzain or elfi stood a chance. ??? thorzain was the best euro at one point Best foreigner terran still. (If I'm not forgetting someone obvious.) Kas is up there. Team Empire got some fierce terrans. Other that that? Select. DeMuslim is not. Why is Demuslim not considered good? Anyways, don't forget about Strelok either. And . . . I think that is it.
Of course he is "good" but I do not consider him to be up there with the others. He's top among the NA terrans tho, if it's ok to count him as one of them. Forgot about Strelok. He's pretty solid.
Edit: typo :3

A random question, is there any foreigners living in Korea still ?

Some different things but I've heard a lot of swedish house stuff. The scandinavian electric stuff can be pretty distinctive.

Really hope a foriegner wins this... Preferably White-Ra or HuK... We need a North American in the Blizzard cup.
HuK looked shaky in the games he's played so far. It might be jetlag, in which case a better showing is possible tomorrow.
Sheth, on the other hand, looked good. He is a possibility.
IdrA bombing out is, unfortunately, "standard" once again. IdrA looked really strong a month or two back when he won IEM Guangzhou and then 2-1'd Bomber. But then he went on a gradual slide into his current state of losing in every match-up.

I am not sure whether this is off Day9's playlist or DH has a different playlist but this music genre seems similar to what Day9 used to play when I used to follow his dailies some time back. I am not whether this will be helpful but this a usual playlist of what he plays before/after his dailies.

Add MajOr to that list as well.

one Bo3 every hour per stream starting on :30, but there is a break right now because Groups E/F just finished. IMO there's not that much downtime.

Jinro too, and Idra/DeMuslim soon. So excited about DeMuslim training over there, I think if we have any foreign Terran player who can achieve the Korean "skill ceiling" then it's him (or SelecT )

Lol, NA Terrans, I forgot that. Is there any good NA Terran atm? I'm looking at NA GM right now, and there is NoNge, who is most likely some korean smurf. And then NamhciR...Are your serious? NA needs to Terran it up fast and serious :D Terran does seem to be the harder race. The weaker the ladder, the less you see Terrans

But let's face it, they have been weak since the ghost nerf patch (1.4.2?). No? I don't see any weakness - just that the game became more balanced since the Ghost nerf. EMP shoul've never been that strong in the first place. As for foreign terrans not winning anything, well they aren't as good as their korean peers and their pretty far from that korean skill ceiling than their toss/zerg counterparts. As for ladder, I ain't terran so maybe their too weak there so Idk... Sorry, I don't understand that statement... are you trying to say that all current foreign Terrans are weaker than their foreign Protoss/Zerg counterparts, or are you just saying that foreign Terrans aren't as good as Korean Terrans? /confused. The former statement is pretty ridiculous and lolworthy. The second statement is just silly, because Koreans are better across the board, not just the Terrans. I'm not going to bite and feed the trolls anymore anyway, don't want to derail the thread any further. Seen some good games from DH so far, my money is on DRG to take it.
Yes I meant the former lol--- What's so ridiculous about that; they "haven't won anything" remember haha you're so hot but chill Terran is David Kim's favorite race so I'm sure he'll come to rescue upon seeing disturbance in the Force xD

What's happening with Strelok, hardly see him in tournaments lately, and no record on the ladder. He was a solid allround terran, not spectacular in any matchup, but no weakness, which basically every single foreign terran has a really weak matchup.
I'd give it to thorzain just, but his play really seems to be slipping. I do wonder if he's actually practicing as much as he was. I'm looking forward to seeing how Kas and Happy play later today, Kas seems in great form lately and i'd love to see him do well at a live event.
