That's a really bad idea, sure he has a 50% chance to get a better group, but he has a 50% shot of also dropping right down to Code A RO 32... and even if he gets a better group there's no guarantee he's going to make RO8 anyway (likewise, no guarantee he'll get eliminated in RO16, although it seems highly likely).

Leenock has bad ZvP and MMA can be beaten in TvP.

But the highest level of play meaning Korean tournaments is a miniscule, MINISCULE sample size. Besides it could be argued that since the Koreans aren't playing anywhere near perfectly ('everyone's still pretty bad at SC2' - Artosis) that we can't empirically judge balance from their play either. It is still perfectly possible that protoss was never underpowered and it was just a metagame thing - after all in a balanced asymmetrical RTS periods highs and lows in winrates are to be expected. And the game is partially based around ladder; the 'adjusted win percentages' that Blizzard uses.

Im glad a player like virus got knocked out of code s. I ve never seem a player donate so many vikings and medvacs like he does. At one time, he had 1.5k of each resource and was maxed, but he took aaaaaages to make a Ghost academy.

Huk has to improve his PvZ, maybe he can get a few practice games against Coca. Who doesn't have mediocre PvZ though? I guess you could argue that Hero and Oz are good at the matchup, but then we realize that Hero hasn't even beaten any Code S zergs, and just BARELY squeezed by the first round of Code A to an unknown zerg and lost to line last season, and the only good zerg that Oz faced in Code A(Curious), raped him 4-0.

I feel like this could be said, there aren't many good protoss with great pvzs lately, the closest i can think of anythign was MC beating idra, and even then idras zvp is horrible and he was playing probably the only person in the world that can still ruffle his feathers that much.

Yes, you would rather face the better players in later rounds, but sometimes it's unavoidable. You know you have to face the better players eventually, so might as well do it in later rounds, but you will have to play them eventually. If you want the most money you have to perform the best.
