HuK defeated MMA on ladder yesterday. Granted, it was on ladder, but he definitely had a chance to advance. Don't rule him out yet. I'm sure they're Diamond-Leaguers who beat MC on the Ladder, so no one cares about the ladder. It would be a major upset if HuK stays in CodeS.

Jinro invests sooo much in the early pressure. He is so depending on the early pressure it's not funny. He needs to get a more "safe" style in the opening. Today it felt like all of the games were make or break in the first minute for Jinro. What happened to macro-gorilla-terran style? Today was so season 3 ![]()

I have been impressed by Coca's play earlier and Zenio did a really nice take on the Spanishwa build. To me it really looked like Jinro was read like a book and unable to take good strategic deceisions. His game looked really stale - kind of like from gsl3 or something. He actually made Zerg look overpowered - just like protoss in the first seasons made terran look overpowered.

I mean, as if one random place in Seoul would be better than the other. I know some people have said that, but were they really able to compare it objectively? It depends on their ISP.

I expect the liquid guys to pack their bags and try their luck in other tournaments, financially much more attractive for them.

He might of been able to make it in season 1, but in the current state of sc2 in GSL, I highly doubt a player like drewbie will qualify for code a, then make it to up and down, then get code S. Sorry, but thats just my opinion. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility, if you read my posts I said that I don't think anyone could make a straight shoot to Code S at this point, it's become very difficult and very competitive. Even top players would have to actually take the time out and make a commitment to stick with it. Given 6 or so months in Korea, I think Drewbie could make it into Code S. You have to remember that even Jinro failed to qualify twice. GSL is really difficult for players outside of Korea because they have to take themselves out of their element and make a huge commitment of time and resources, if they mess up even once, they're on the bench for 3 months and all the while they are missing out on the foreign goings-on unless they want to add additional expense for flying around. It's even more huge pressure for foreigners who don't have a setup like Liquid with a host team, if you mess up, you're basically burning money and wasting time.
