After that though, it seems like Tyler's better unit composition came over the top... Problem is that he then got into a huge disadvantage without any reason ;P
There was a reason. He just couldnt hold it against Nonys macro. :p Actually, Grubby had his expo up like 2 minutes earlier with 50% more probes.
5minutes later, Nony has 10 more probes AND a bigger army AND a starport without there having been any battles after the initial 4gate action

No offense to them, they just arent fit as casters.

All this hybrid player is really messing Grubby, seems like he tries to do some warcraft 3 stuff while forgeting to macroooo he plays three/four weeks ... building probes every 15 seconds and warping units every 30 seconds is something which requires more games/training, it doesn't come naturally, no matter how talented you are.

its funny how people thinks grubby is instantly one of the best sc2 players after just switching from WC3.
he has been playing for what, 3 weeks now? come on.

He clearly he isnt, he seems to be doing what he did in sc1 just relying on his mechanics and not progressing in other areas, and it really wont work in sc2 when mechanics are barely an issue anymore, the fact a player with less than a month came that close is pretty embarresing for someone playing the game and its prequel for that long
it wasnt close at all...

I was honestly surprised by how bad grubby played in game 2. Wouldn't expect a championship level rts player to constantly throw away units to his opponent.

I prefer watching the German stream too, and I do not understand it well :p

I dont understand a single word but this dood is talking sooooooo much :DDD

I think that the main problem with the GLHF guys is that they don't seem excited enough. Does anyone know what's happening on the Khaldor stream? Was it a disc?

grubby played well i think. hes up against a great PvP player in tyler. He seems to want to pick units off and retreat, when in PvP its just about that 1 giant battle. his collosus were in front which was bad as well.... again i feel like he wanted to try and pick things off with them and retreat them back. while tyler just let his behind his army in a safer position.
but PvP is the worst mirror imo, collosus battles are soooooo boring.
Either way grubby looked very solid for 3 weeks of practice.

I talked to Naugrim before his matches and we were talking about iNSoLenCe vs Xlord where he used the same blink strategy, so I think he was pretty much aware of it.

Khaldor is just awesome, the way he is cheering for Insolence, is just great. I cannot help but root for him too.

Calling the games 'not close' is just ignorance. In the base-race game, tyler got out a second observer a second before his robotics bay went down - had he only had one, he would have been forced to stay at his expansion = grubby wins. Second game, grubby had advantage, but decided to attack into unfavorable positions and thus lost to many units. Scouting could have made a difference.

the term close is relative to what isnt close, for me i was expecting a almost 10 year sc pro to destroy a 1 month player in 3-4mins
