No he wouldn't. Idra had no ability to attack Jinro's base's. Jinro was pretty defensive and still Idra could not expand because his expo would go down instantly if Jinro Scouted it. On other maps such as Metalopolis, If a Terran is turtling you can just out-expand them without having to worry about them running 5 seconds across the map to your 3rd/4th.

Woulda been nice if it had been on meta or a diff balanced map. its because he wasnt really better in this game.
but still well played

What does this have to do with how idra lost that game?

Jinro playing TvZ on jungle basin... again.
Lucky him.

Too bad that game was played on JB, like so many people before have said... Could have been an even more epic game on another map. Both players played really good and idra just couldn't overcome the map, that really sucks for him =/ Not saying he would win on another map, but he would have had a better chance atleast.
Im happy tho, Jinro hwiting!

Give me another unit combination that is as effective as the combination you mentioned vs. Terran. Fair, but Jinro blindly made turrets + thors to counter the mutas before IdrA had even started his mutas. Jinro set that game up to give IdrA no chance. Well played by IdrA, well executed by Jinro.

Praying for better map and not close positions for Idra...

Can't get a 3d/4th running safely and terran just turtles up the middle to get a 3d IdrA flew his mutas into a bottleneck with a thor on each side of them, marines behind them and marines intercepting in front. Lol, the game was way way over at that point. Game was over the moment Jinro got his 3d set up and denied a 4th base for Idra. It was a desperation attack from Idra at that point

A question about the matches. If Check beats Jinro, Idra beats ensnare, what happens then ?

stop the nonsense. even if one person said that, it's just an ignorant comment. why would you want to publicize it to knowing more ignorant comments would be encouraged?

Lucky him. It's dumb how much maps are affecting who advances in this league.

No it was over before then. He had no drones, weaker economy and was even bases with T. Running the muta there was just the cherry on top.
Anyway Idra I felt played that really well, Jinro was just perfect in his execution and you can't really beat a T that's playing the map perfectly.

I think he lost the game because he kept transfering his drones through the middle, when he should have had the rocks destroyed for a safe transfer. Idra played beautifully and Jinro as well. Jungle Basin is cramped. It's not a great map but it's not horribly imbalanced. Personally I'd like to see larger maps so that macro games can flow better. This will also help me vs Zerg players who say I only win because of map imbalance :D
Isn't zerg like 1-7 in ZvT in the last 8 games on JB? That is "horribly imbalanced."
