Didn't Artosis, in the same interview, more or less dismiss HayprO? It just shows that it's really not possible to individually predict who will qualify/how far they will make it. I mean, generally, you could make predictions like, probably a korean will win the GSL (big shock! ![]() ![]() While I love watching Artosis, know he knows way more sc2 than I will ever know, and he is a way better player I am personally getting wary of his predictions. If you watch the finals of GSL 2 for example almost every prediction he makes, major or minor is wrong. From "gg now" to what strategies each player will use, to what the outcome of each map will be. I think his problem is he makes too many predictions, where as I wish he stuck to the stuff he was more sure of. I only really realized this after watching Day[9] at MLG. He tends to (voice his) predict(ions) less often, and is more often right. I'm also pretty sick of Artosis trying to estimate when people will 'gg'. Just stop. Also I super hope he qualifies! Jinro and Haypro best of luck!

It's fun to joke about and all...but the reality is that one of the first things they teach commentators is to not be wishy-washy. Speaking in absolutes makes you wrong a lot, but it makes you far more concise and interesting to listen to. "Moose" Johnson spoke about this when he first started commentating for Fox football. He said they had to keep beating it into his head because it wasn't something he was very comfortable with (went against his personality).

Personally it's a bit sad that NaDa lost to SlayersBoxeR in GSL2. I was really impressed with NaDa's macro based strategies against Zerg and would've liked to see him go against ZergBong. It will be interesting to see how TvZ will go in GSL3. It still seems to be quite the mystery for top level Terrans. ... It will also be interesting to see if Protoss will get a hero that can bring their race past the Ro8.

Jinro and Haypro best of luck! Despite the fact that this whole topic is completely off base for what this thread is intended for, you have to understand where he is coming from. He see's the whole game, from both sides, and knows all the advantages, and disadvantages for both players, while each player may not. If he calls GG before the player himself does, it's because from they way the game is looking from the obs point of view, it is in fact over. This does not factor in human error, or intuition. So his timing isn't wrong, in the sense that from his point of view the player he stated lost, probably should have, will lose. On topic, really glad to see two liquid's break in the ro64! Hope to see all of them make it, and crush GSL like they did MLG!

Foreigners Fighting! Sad for nada though ![]() HayprO: BEST posture ever. I had a feeling he would qualify, since he got pretty far in GSL 2's qualifiers, so he got the experience. Glad I voted for him ![]() Jinro: Third times the charm!
