If it were possible, I'd have a negative winrate :-) I can handilly get up to three base, start it between 6/7 minutes, having 1/1 near halfway done and Metabolic on the way. 4rth base gets added slightly late I think (when should I plant it?). In the end, he just managed to make 50/50 Marauder Marine and a ton of Mines, and I just died. I couldn't do anything about it (might have been helped by the map... Yeonsu seems kinda bad for ZvT ?). I don't know how I kill an entranched Terran, so usually, they just ball up again and kill me. Is this were the mutalisk come in? PS Is Yeonsu thrash for ZvT? I felt helpless with my ling runby's and surrounds.... Kind Regards Maybe you should try the Life ZvT build/strategy that was featured on Day9 daily maybe a month ago, maybe a bit longer. The point is bassically to bring the aggression to terran with ling/bane busts before they start fucking you up with MMMM. I also didn't really like mutas since they feel so sensitive to mines. This builds delays mutas a bit to favor gas into banelings, but you have to make sure to get them to stop the terran from dropping you, sooner or later. Usually I just win with the initial ling/bling bust, or with a followup. If not, I like to get ultras out pretty quickly in favor of getting a ton of mutas, but I guess that's a question of preference. My winrate is like over 80% vs Terran, and I had problems with the TvZ matchup before starting to use this strat. However, I'm really a plat/dia player but i fluked my placement match and was placed in gold for some reason, so those stats doesn't really say all that much, even if I think they say something.

Hi, I'm new here and I hope I am posting in the right section. I just wanted some opinions on what I could have done for this game. http://drop.sc/363386 I'm the Zerg. I think I lost because my transition wasn't very good and I wasn't macroing very well. Thanks

I'm having trouble in ZvP, I feel kinda lost nothing i used to do seems to work anymore. I don't have much spare time lately so I'm having trouble coming up with strategies on my own. Does somebody know of ZvPs in form of Replay or Vod that the Zerg wins? This weekend isn't a good one so far, and it seems the soO vs. Parting and the Soulkey vs. Rain series are not publicly available... So I'm having trouble finding games :D Any link to any /edit highlevel (Gm and above because my level is ~1700 Masters EU right now) Replay (be it pack or singular) or Vod is much appreciated! P.S.: I don't want a guide, I prefer actual games

To be clear, as I guess I wasn't before (sorry), I want to study the match up to strengthen my ZvP via understanding. I don't want to just play a build, I want to know the intricacies of the matchup ![]() For that I need high-level material (and not only P winning but Z as well)

A 10 drone scout will allow you to re-actively go 3 hatch or bane bust vs cc first. If he went reaper expand, you can expect the helions to leave his base at 6:20 ish. Don't quote me on that one ![]()

This opening seems really versatile; they can either tech up or be greedy, or 4 gate all in. IMO 3 hatch is the best way to deal with a 1 gate expand. Just as gateway expanding is versatile, so are the options to play against it. If you go 3 hatch, your economy will be exponentially better, and also it will allow you to brush back the naniwa-style build where you go up to 4 gates and attack with zealot mothership; you should have enough economy to crush it, putting you quite ahead. If they tech up and play standard/greedy, they still won't be able to catch up to your superior economy, and you can go into vipers or swarm hosts from there. The key to play against gateway expand is SCOUT SCOUT SCOUT and map control. Sack at least 2 ovies to scout at appropriate times for any all-ins/tech, and always keep map control with your lings. Keep a couple outside their nat ramp and continously poke up to see what's up (toss will always build additional buildings at the nat ramp regardless of build), and scout around the map to take control of watch towers and deny any proxy pylons. If the scv dies but the bunker is really close to being completed you may want to start a spine in the opposite side of your hatch, in case he brings another scv to finish the bunker. Hey all. Quick question. Terrans have been sneaking a bunker outside my nat or between my main and nat before my pool finishes. Then a reaper jumps in there and suddenly I'm forced to make a bunch of lings to clear it. What's the best way to deal with this and how many lings do I need to kill a bunker with 2 reapers in it?

I really dont know what to spend on since i like playing reactively so getting my bases up before producing any units. EDIT: here's my ggtracker if that helps (though i havent updated it in a while) http://ggtracker.com/players/1093244/Stazzle One of the most important macro tips is spending your larva as you as it pops up. Usually, you want to spend an entire larva cycle on drones or units (not both). So in order to know when to spend larva on units or drones, you need to have good scouting information (overlords go into base at key times and 1 zergling at the front and at his potential expansions). PIG https://twitter.com/x5_PiG said it best. "Scout aggressively and make drones."

EDIT: here's my ggtracker if that helps (though i havent updated it in a while) http://ggtracker.com/players/1093244/Stazzle first of all, its important to get buildorders for all your matchups, after that, practice them! Practice your inject skills, as you play more, you will get better at spending all your larvae. An easier tip is to get a macro hatch when youre above 1k minerals, but if you just follow buildorders (feel free to copy the pros since youre new to the game, its a great way to start and when youve learned the basics and understand the game a bit better you can make your own builds ![]() tl;dr *Keep injecting throughout the game, always inject (there are great guides on TL that mentions different ways to inject). *Practice your builds and multitasking (I prefer to do it vs very easy AI so I can fully focus on my own game) until you dont have to think about what to do, you just do it. * if you bank 1k+ minerals because youre out of larvae, Get a macro hatch! (ALSO keep injecting!)
