how do you beat cannon rush tvp?

I'm this close to map hacking full time vs protoss because this is bullshit

1 marauder in a bunker stops the cannons advancing. Maybe get in the habit to scout your main for 2gate / cannons on 2p maps before opening 14 cc.

But yeah, khaldor calling them robots does take away from their accomplishments. They're korean, they deserve the praise just as much as americans / european players ( despite contrary opinions)

This is a TvP on Bel'Shir, I open Reaper -> Reactor, and I scout that there's 1 less Pylon, guess it's probably proxy stargate,I get to the pylon just about as early as I can

but I'm not sure how to hold this. Is this just a build order loss or was there something I could've done? Maybe pulled SCVs?

This has been asked more then once in this thread, maybe put the answer in OP. No, in general there isnt. MKP does a 11/11 with bunkers against nexus cannon and wins in a gsl match. But i dont think amateurs can pull that off with a high winrate. I think macro game is better option, just build more stuff and keep trading.
The two NBA teams in states with legal weed are called the Nuggets and the Blazers...

I feel I need some help with my decision-making in TvP. I get really antsy when I allow them to sit on three bases so I attack often. But this leads me to indecision when I can't find an opening to attack. Example, Protoss has secured his third on Whirlwind and his army (smaller than mine and deaddeaddead if I can disable his templar) is defending it with high templar and cannons to spot ghosts. Is there any way for me to attack into it? What's the next step if not? Dropping becomes difficult because they have cannons near their bases with ht to feedback medivacs. I actually have no huge problems with big army engagements in the middle, but it always feels like the mid-lategame decision to finally attack is 100% up to the protoss, and it's difficult to force engagements from something I did.

You need bunkers and turrets. One of TheDwf's posts covers oracle defense specifically somewhere in this thread.

In this specific situation however, you need to have a bunker at the top of your ramp at least. Your reaction should be to immediately set defense up to hold his push. He was also going to all in you, but because you never reacted to the proxy you scouted, he killed you before he needed the gates.

I've been pretty lost with TvP, so I randomly logged onto KR server and checked out the highest ranked Terran's build orders, and he opened 12 rax 12 gas reactor double reaper literally every TvP.

I was skeptical, but said what the hell and tried it out... and damn, I think it's very strong. I had no idea's that 2 reapers would beat a stalker, or how much damage a reaper does to a zealot when it's not microing away the entire time.

After the 2 reapers, he expands, drops a factory, and does either a 4 helion drop or widow mine marine drop. But you can also simply just drop 1-2 more rax and proceed to play standard. It just seems that 2 much reapers is so much better than one and opens up a lot more doors.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

How do i beat mass queens into ultras if i play mech ? If i push out when taking my 3:e i get crushed by the upgraded queens. When he gets static defence at his bases its really hard to drop as well because the queens just kills everything everywhere, when the ultras gets out its game over with that many queens + the creep spread he got. Last game a remaxed about 4 times because of all the bases i got up . I just cant kill anything even in a defensive position.

Hi guys. I'm a diamond Terran and I struggle vs Protoss All-Ins/Cheesy plays. There are just to many thing that protoss can do ;( I go standard Bomber's Gasless FE from WOL pretty much every game. If I see double gas I always add early engineering bay in case of min DTs or Oracles. I scout for proxies after I built my bunker. Then scan if i cant poke in with an SCV(around 5:00). When I don't see expand(5:00) I always add 2 bunker and transfer some workers from main to natural so i can quickly repair them. If I didn't scout any proxies near by, and didn't see robo/4 gate/starport in his base, I assume he's going blink stalker or DTs(if on 2 gas) or 4gate(if on 1 gas) right? Proxing starports/robotic facilities too far doesn't do any benefit. Well that's my logic. Then I have no clue whether he's going DTs/Blink Stalker? How can I decide what all-in he's doing. Some cheesy Protoss hide their stalkers. What is the issue with what I'm doing? Can anyone explain, show me what to do? I even sometimes fail to defend Blink Stalkers even if I scouted it.

Hey guys, been trying something relatively new (In the sense that I have only seen it done once, ever) in TvT and it involves using hellbat drops as a part of my main army in bio mirrors. I usually open up the two rax 4 reaper opening into double expand, follow it up with combat shields, double bio ups, and up to 7 rax and starport. From there I add a reactor to the factory and go up to 8 to 10 hellbats and go medivac heavy, at least 8. I keep the hellbats in the medivacs, add them to another controll group, and boost them over the main army as I engage with my marines. In the few games I have tried this, the hellbats, medivacs, and upgrade lead allows me to usually trade cost effectively agaisnt pure bio or marine tank comps, with a few exceptions of out right winning the game.

Anyway, I was wondering if, at the very least, the concept is valid or if these few games were flukes?

Woud love to post these replays, but I currently do not have access to my computer and will not for at least the next two weeks.

When it starts getting to this spot, I would recommend throwing down a lot more ccs and building up a ghost viking bio army, using the ccs to slowly sac scvs and gain a huge army value. Be sure to use a medivac or two to poke around his bases still, delay his fourth, and scout out hus unit composition. Once you get the army it comes down to engaging. Also add hellbats if the toss is heavy on chargelots.
