This does not apply if you just commenting on compilation or making suggestions or helping with corrections. This is for people who are posting anything they believe should be added to the compilation. This is to make it easier on me and to keep this post reliable and current. Please include the article/video link and a short description of what it is about. I want to make sure people are actually reviewing the articles/videos before submitting them to me so that weak content is avoided! And finally thanks for contributing to the compilation!

Does this guide/video still work in the current version of Starcraft II?
Does this guide/video provide a wealth of information that could teach other people to become a better player in some way?
While I think it's great that Edward is making these tutorial videos, on the subject of 3rax I think Trump has a much better tutorial video. Trump's video is much older (patch 1.0.3), but it is still valid as the patches since then have changed nothing affecting the 3rax build apart from Stimpack taking 30 seconds longer. Why do I find Trump's video better?
* Trump seems to have put more preparation and thought into the video. No "oops I cut SCVs for a short period of time" or "as soon as I've...oh, be sure to MULE".
* Trump points out more subtleties to beginners, such as when to send the SCV to get the building to start on time.
* Trump's execution is a lot cleaner. Edward misses some production time on the Command Center and Barracks, thereby having less units and floating resources. He says "it looks like I have about enough minerals to go for an expansion" and then goes for it, but a properly macro'ed 3rax build should leave you dead-broke on minerals.
* Trump starts Stimpack first, Concussive Shells second. This makes a lot more sense to me than the other way around, given the research time. It allows the push to commence sooner.
Their are some posts below that comment on the fact that some sections do not have links. There are no links in certain sections because there are no videos/articles that are relevant to the current version of the game.
Their have been a few posts and PMs asking me if I can create threads for the other races. These threads take a lot of time and work to keep up to date. If this thread receives alot of good feedback and I feel I have enough free time to keep the other races up to date I well start threads for the other races. I do not want to have a half butt thread so unless I feel I can provide a great thread I well not do so.
I have gotten a lot of free time over the next few months so I am going to develope a website with forums for everything in this guide to make it more visually appealing and easier to access. I well also update the guide on this site at the same time. Their is no time line I am going to work on on the website on the side. I would like to point out my education is in a different subject so building a website is a hobby and I do not know extensive code only basics. If you would like to help me out PM me.

This post well be updated by YOU! I need help looking up guides and finding good articles/videos. I do not have time to watch every video so I am asking that you to at the very least watch/read it yourself before submitting it to me. Also please point out any mistakes/typos of anything below so I can correct it. This post well never be complete so lets get to updating it!
The point of this section is to feature Terran only streams so that other Terrans can support them. I am asking that the player streaming is a minimum of masters league. If you run the stream and would like to be added/removed/edited please PM me. The list well be alphabatized. I would also like to post normal streaming times so if it could be provided by someone I would appreciate it. Also if a player speaks a language other than english regularly on the stream let me know so I can list it next to his stream.

To the people who are asking about the links that are missing its cause I haven't really found any reliable videos or articles for these builds on the internet yet. This is for the current version of starcraft of course. Also if you like this post tell all your terran buddies about it so they can contribute too! The biggest problem I found with the terran community is that we are less bound together, maybe this post can get some more members of our online community together to help each other out by supporting streams and each other through improvement of game play or just being awesome.
Thank you mlgbx However your first post with the master league Terran team build while it is interesting I feel it lacks some things like replays or videos to make it a full enough thread that well benefit people that are reading it.

To the other races if you reading this post is CONFIDENTIAL. But seriously if I have enough free time between improving my game play, real life, and maintaining this article to be up to date as much as possible. I well most likely compile information for Protoss and Zerg too. It depends on how well this goes and of course how much time I feel I have. I hate to do half jobs so unless I feel I can keep them up to date I wont do it.
If anything is too much, I think it's the options for Terran race.
I'd like to see a zerg / protoss topic of this that's longer than this.
Huh? Guides. There are no guides for terran. Look at the Recommended Threads. Most guides are gimmicks or out of date.
There are a TON of good resources for Zerg in particular. 12 weeks, blade's guides, etc. Protoss has iamke55 and Cecil that write great guides. Terran is lacking these.
Everyone thank you for contributing! Sadly their is a lack of guide and information for Terran. It is because I believe we have the weakest community over all. I am attempting to bring more attention to our race and show people who are contributing to the community that we appreciate it. This might motivate more people to contribute to the community.
@rust.oxide Thanks for noticing the typo. For some reason I always spell it loose instead of lose lol. Been doing it since I was a little kid and the bad habit still hasnt left me!
I also would like to add if anyone is talented at Photoshop or just art in general (i'm only semi-decent). I would like to have images added to this post! Specifically the title and the RED lettered words. The plan is to replace the red words with a image with a title that is similar to what is said there.
also if you want this is a very good example of dropping vs toss, which is a must with MMMGV (this game T goes MMMGV versus colossi, high templars, archons, and all that good jazz)
Should be a useful guide for Terran players It has somewhat overlapping function with the recommended threads but I guess this one has different stuff and somewhat of a more structured apprearance for Terran players. Thanks for taking your time to improve the strategy forum

@xTrim Thank you for the replay it was interesting however this is not what I am looking for. If you would like to write a guide featuring and explanation of this type of play and include a couple replays with it or perhaps make a VoD of the replay I would be more than happy to post up your wonderful creation. I feel that if I start posting up replays it would be overwhleming and also their is tons of wonderful sites for people to find replays!
@Aeyon Thanks for catching the double video I fixed the link. Their is alot of BBCode in this post when I edit so sometimes it is hard to see a small difference like that. Im thinking of using notepad++ to edit it and catch small things like that.

Nice post op! Definately a nice complination of useful videos, which is a great media to teach about sc2. One build I'd suggest you'd think about adding is TLO's(? not 100% sure, atleast I've seen him do it many times) TvZ build, hellions, FE, and a siege timing push.
I would really love some written down TvP builds for macro games, I cant seem to do 1rax FE so I'd like some other builds up to around 50 food maybe so I get a clue of how to play the early game in that MU, mostly I just do 3rax with 1 tech lab and try to end it but I have no other builds and that feels very all-in. Thanks
hey thirnaz check out this strategy form adebisi. Its macro oriented and its a video might be a little easier to pick up. Its a 1 rax FE vs Protoss interesting idea .

Gee thanks. But I didn't know what patch it was. I just deduced it from the date of the video and Liquipedia's list of patches.

Since I do get out alot of PMs with links could you point out which videos apply to Terran (provide the direct links) and I well watch them when I have time. How to properly open with ghosts in TvT. Defends and punishes fast tech and econ builds. Ghost out at 4:40 along with 2marine/SCV push. Transition into whatever you like: tanks, blueflame, banshee, etc.

Opps I changed it in the post but forgot to change it in Notepad++ haha. So when I went to edit notepad++ again and change everything it just put it back to where it was before.

I got a decent TvT build order down but I had trouble finding a comfortable build for the other 2 that didn't have warnings about how difficult it was to pull off and how macro intensive it was and some even flat out said they don't suggest it to anyone underneath high plat/diamond. So here I am asking for a non-cheese (I actually wanna get better) build that is effective in TvP and TvZ matchups. Thanks.

For TvZ I suggest Adebisis 3 Orbital that is under the videos section in TvZ
For TvP I suggest Adebisis copy of select build which is also under the videos section in TvP

Added your guide its a pretty good one. I didnt have time to go through everything but I got through most of it. I suggest it to any new terran player!
He's got fantastic commentary, reminds me a lot of how Idra analyzes when he's casting, but Sterling will often do this as he's playing. He's a GM Terran, so if you're looking for Terran tips/strategies/builds, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't watch this guy.
Do you have the stream link that is on team liquid? I try to link there because it makes it easier for people if they want to switch streams at a later time.
Awesome thread, sooooo many people on simple questions and simple answers have asked for standard terran build orders, now I can just link them to this thread rather than list builds out :D

That simply because no one has written a guide on it yet. We do have some past/ongoing discussion about the build in TvP. I suppose it might be worth a shot to take a look at this.
Your best resource for CC first builds are to find pro replays of it working and analyzing how/why they were able to get away with it. MLG replay packs and GSL VODs are what come to mind first.

Alright guys I just got back off a deployment and I am coming back to SC2 and the gaming population in general for about 3 more months till I have to return.
Im gonna update this thread again and try to get everything back and running but Im gonna need your help. Ive been gone so long I really have zero understanding of the game and how its changed. Please give me time to get things going. It takes time to readjust back to civilian life but I well work on this as much as I can.
