i think maybe someone should make tournement with hots custom will be really fun. its like playing hots tourenemnet for real, will be good if someone can do it and post link to it here

Hey guys, I think I've got the Unit Tester fixed thanks to some help I got from the sc2mapster channel. EDIT: Upon further testing there is some tool-tip issues that I need to fix. Also, there are two small changes to the last patch that aren't mentioned in the Arcade patch notes, they are listed below and in the main thread post's patch notes.

Added Patch Notes 1.08
- Widow Mine now has 0 armor from 1
- Mothership Core now takes no supply

Yes, firstly I found this thread here - http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/3424797849, I also remember finding another thread mentioning Ultralisks now doing light damage. I don't see why anyone would lie about it, or how they would think of the Ultralisk's damage being changed since it wasn't mentioned anywhere, let alone what specific numbers the damage would be.

But secondly, I remember in the original HOTS Custom when I was making the balance video, I was not able to get the Ultralisks to kill bio as efficiently as it was in this video. You can see that it takes just two swipes for the Ultralisk to kill the bio.

Granted, there may be some other explanation for all this, or it may have been changed since then. I think this is substantial evidence to implement this change. But of course as always, if there is reasonable evidence contrary to this then I will revert this change.

Did you think that it's still do anti-armored bonus damage, but when it unburrows aka finishes Burrow Charge, it damages everything around with basic damage?

And maybe that is a reason why they do 2 swipes to kill marines, because they already damaged those units with one "swipe" aka charge ending atack?

first thing:
i am currently doing coverage for a fansite at gamescom. im not faking anything -.-

second:
i asked xenox several times if he could upload several maps with the hots changes but he never answers (i was asking cause i ha the idea of the tournament months ago). he never replies. dunno why but it seems he just doesnt want to get this map more famous.


other thing:

i had a sheet with the official press release of the hots version of the mlg with me and checked everything for changes. those changes i told you were the ones that were different from the press kit of the hots mlg version. i didnt know that blizzard gave out completly old infos about the hots version.

All the videos blizzard released with ultra charge vs bio, the bio was fungaled first.

ye,huge amount of players would start playing if he add another maps. Especially 2 entrance to natural on this map make a game really different. Regards.

btw does everyone sure the locust had 65 hp? Maybe it have changed so someone who go to gamescom try cheak all the changes. if you able to play the game there just go for the help bar and write and cheak all the changes like:corupter doesnt have his coruption ability back,voerlord need evo chamber for making creep, ultra damge etc..... if will really help out

another thing about the ultra changed on the custom to do damge to light it cant be right cuz if you look on the vidio you can see murader take the ultra charge thing so he left with 115 it was may fungeled before cuz marines died fast so he had now 75 hp. after he takes 2 full hits from ultra left with 5 hp and later one splash damge when ultra kill marines and than he dies=ultra cant kill murades with 3 hits even if it fungeled when 15 damge to armored=this change must be takken back

A very good observation. I think it is still possible that these videos were made with an earlier version, but this is obviously a less likely scenario. I will probably change this back in the next patch, though for the time being maybe see how it fits the current metagame just to get an idea of whether it's possible that Blizzard may have wanted to implement it later (i.e. if it makes ultralisks more viable in ZvT or ZvP lategame), for instance Blizzard increased the reaper's health to suit the new life regeneration mechanic, so it is possible that they did this for a similar reason (though as mentioned not the most likely case which is why I am switching it back next patch unless new evidence comes).
