And make you show up in every single post. However, you are safe because there are 3 players with "fighting" in their quotes and 1 person with "hwaiting"! In all seriousness, brush up on your google skills if BC is doing his clues like he used to. Or just ignore them. For reference, clazziquai boiled people in a "searing liquid." If you google "clazziquai" you find out it is a form of "acid jazz" and that was the clue. If you can't make that kind of connections (I couldn't even with the mafia list - I thought the liquid was hot coffee and it connected to decafchicken), be wary about using clues except to supplement your reads.

To be fair, every clue always points back to DecafChicken, and he's mafia about 100% of the time.

I've never heard of it happening before either, but I'm guessing that hosts like to keep things organized, and that means sending out similar roles at the same time. For instance, say you are a cop, and you ask someone who claimed cop for their role pm time. If it's 30 seconds after yours, then it's likely that they are a cop that was messaged in the same batch as you. In any case, that would be really unreliable, as it would depend on the methods that the host used. However, if everyone claimed their times, it could become very useful in the late game. (Similar to how knowing what numbers people picked in PYP helps towards the end.)

(Similar to how knowing what numbers people picked in PYP helps towards the end.) It was done in Mafia III: Resurrection. And yes, the roles were handed out by role (it is easier for the host because you can send the PM, hit back on your browser, change the name of the recipient, and hit send again and it goes to the new recipient now). The town could have figured out everyone's role just by looking at the timestamps of their role PMs. For a while all of the hosts randomized their PMs so this wouldn't work, but we decided it would be easier to just put in that rule so we don't have to think about it any more.
