Chinese getting what they deserve for taking needless risks, they could really use some EU wisdom of how to safely close games.

Honestly, from S3 I remember China's problem was that they had really crap decisionmaking and map control. They farmed really well, destroyed lane, but played very aggressive and took/forced fights, even if they were disadvantageous. If they won one or two fights in a row, they snowballed really hard but if they didn't they farmed back, took fights and either strung together a couple won fights and snowballed, or just rinsed repeat, fell behind and lost. Against mass pink wards by SKT they were pretty screwed.

Them being a patch behind also may give a slight handicap ...

On another note, I love how you can play two Asian vs Eu games and have time to spare in the time it took Mill vs Fnatic.

That too, but I don't think it affected them at the strategic level much.

Europeans play by gentlemen's rules, no rush 20 ofc

I wonder if the LCS is not perhaps hurting the skill level of teams? Never before has every single team in EU looked so bad and even in NA the top team(s) don't look as good as last season. Is it just the period of the year or something more?

Well, the state of C9 is pretty much like how SKTK will turn out. You can be the best team in a region, but you shouldn't be able to just walk over it for an extended period of time. TSM and CLG have only gotten better. XDG were royally fucked by management and are now in damage control mode.

More like they were lazy fukers and didn't do shit after Worlds.

"They" isn't very descriptive there.

Conan is weak and Ruo is atrocious, but Sukim is very strong and Caomei is still fine. Wx is Wx. Underperforms sometimes but very consistent overall. Lower highs than he used to have though.

i saw sukim build some weird shit in the couple games i watched against OMG. dunno if normal.

Yeah it's like NA EU are in a seperate world in regards to LoL compared to Asia . We are the minor league they're in the majors

... so that one game singlehandedly made the former "joke region" SEA on par with the rest of Asia in people's eyes?

If by "people's eyes" you mean a couple of comments in a single community site, then yeah, they could totally go on par with SKT.

I don't get this sensationalism

FWIW I've always felt the average skill of the top 3-4 teams of SEA is stronger than the average skill of the the top 3-4 teams in NA and EU LCS. They're also more creative with picks and unorthodox movements.

They have a tendency to do very risky maneuvers for relatively little gain, but the flip side is that when they're ahead, they are very good at aggressively forcing the advantage. Their individual skill level is also very high.

SEA is the most difficult region to evaluate because they're not clearly superior to NA/LCS like CN and KR are, but they always tend to do OK in LANs when people don't expect it.

if you see them streaming their top players are high diamond or low challenger on kr server with high ping. that is not weak at all. just by proxy, westdoor and godjj are kr challenger and are not that dominant on tw, so they do have a lot of talent.

I mean you've already proven yourself to be totally incapable of seeing beyond the results of the most recent game + LCS fanboyism, so I don't know why you're even posting, literally no one on this forum takes your opinions seriously.

Fkin blizzard, if they had kept their game making shut and never made BW Europe would be #1 on the back counter-strike.
