Builds, jungle style, team comps Jungle Ezreal was brought up in a recent AMA with a pro jungler. He seemed quite favorable of the prospect. As a jungler who's only adc when I had to play that role was Ezreal for the longest time, the concept intrigues me. Ezreal brings a ton of poke to a team comp, a low-cooldown blink, passive self-as buff, and an additional cdr trigger (1sec off all cd timers each time Q lands ). Also his global ult has produced numerous "where did that come from?!" moments. On initial testing he seems like he can handle jungle. He'll likely want a hard blue leash and he'll need to rush madreds+vamp scepter for jungle clearing/sustain but once he gets rolling he can single target clear quickly. So fellow TROLLS how can we turn Ezreal from "wtf troll pick trololol" to "no jungle ez? Lol low elo scrub"? | ||

Playstyle/team fight role is the first and most important consideration, as it defines what builds/team compositions he'll fit into. It may be that multiple styles can work depending on circumstances, but we should start with one style and see how far we can take it before being distracted by any others. | ||

I really like the utility IBG build that Saint runs, pretty sure he throws a BC in there as well. Takes a while to get the gold, but once you have IBG you have the massive utility with sacrificing the damage on the ADC. | ||

The current testing topics are:
I'll report that due to extenuating circumstances Miscue and I ended up running a Jayce/Zilean bot-lane. To make a long story short, we dominated a Leona/Draven bottom lane and managed to carry an incompetent Pantheon (ult into enemy team which has just barely started Baron, HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO) and a Jungle Twitch who ignored everyone instantly and preferred split pushing (and dying to Draven) to fighting with the team. I submit for review that the mobility, harass, 2v2 dominance, and later-game utility of the Jayce/Zilean lane makes it a prime candidate for our kill lane and AD-less composition studies. | ||

You can take any champion with a ranged Auto-attack, build BT + Zeal + LW on them, and call them an AD carry. The point isn't to find alternative AD carries on which to use current builds but to have no champion building like a traditional AD carry at all. Case in point, my Jayce Build was Long Sword + 2 Pot -> Boots + Faerie -> Tear -> Manamune -> Catalyst -> Negatron -> BV + Chainvest -> Glacial -> Phage -> Sheen -> Trinity. If my team had more magic damage I probably would have built like an AD bruiser instead (rushing BC and the like). Neither of those are traditional AD carry builds, and as such if it weren't for the jungle Twitch my team would not have had an AD carry. There's tangential research we could do into examining the potential of bruiser-esque builds on certain AD carries (e.g. Graves, Caitlyn), but we should avoid getting pinned down in semantic squabbles over what the definition of an AD carry actually is. | ||

As for tank Kassadin relying on FH, it was already used by somebody near the start of s2, his summoner name was Utahime I believe but I can't remember who he is on TL. 5HIT probably did it too. Maybe they can give ideas about it. Utahime is probably Southlight iirc, but I haven't seen him post in awhile so I don't even know if he visits TL LoL anymore. | ||
