Smite on non-junglers is a matter of timings and itemization.
Think of Smite like a fast expansion. Once you've spent 2250g on Machete + Upgrade + Enchantment that investment has paid off. Until you do, however, you're still recouping that investment. Machete + Upgrade only buys you a combat summoner for your 750g, so if your opponent (who had one already) spends theirs on stats you're behind.
You can mitigate this by using Smite to start with a level advantage (clear a small camp for the quick level 2) and to grab jungle camps every so often for an edge. The question is whether this makes up for lacking a combat summoner for the early game and potentially into the mid game (if your champion can't effectively rush the Enchanment).

Kalista way overrated just because she has infinite hop. Her strongest point in the game is probably late game just cause of the hopping and full build any ADC does a lot of damage but she's still probably not as good as other hyper late game ADCs and she doesn't have the burst damage to be as relevant in the mid game as Lucian or Corki or even Graves. Only thing that might have to change on her is the fact that rend slows because she really doesn't need a slow considering she chases and kites better than pretty much everyone else.

Does magic immunity mean takes no damage from any ability or only from magic damage?

I have a feeling the new jungle AS item will get nerfed soon. It's like a feral flare only you don't need 30 large creep kills.

I will always fondly remember the SV postgame interview "they still try to play with hardcarry ADC, but that doesnt work anymore, people got warmogs and shit!"
Probably my favorite time in league as a jungler tho, I just loved the Madreds Tabi Locket build and the champions it brought into meta.

I think junglers are once again going to be relagated to second support. 7-0 on vi but still finished third on my team in gold cuz I had about 25-30 less cs then normal at 25 mins

The double stacking on the devourer enchant also makes a big difference. When the game goes long you get insane value for such a cheap item. Any aspd jungler should just rush it and hard carry like when prenerf feral flare was released.

Most DOT's apply their first tick at time=0. So more attack speed will increase DPS when the DOT is refreshed. Not sure if the new machete works like this, but it probably does
