Smite hasn't actually changed yet. But according the tooltip its CD is now 15 seconds in addition to the 75s charge regeneration. That CD is pretty crucial because it means mids can't back to back Smite something, whether it be a champion or a Creep camp. There's still potential for Lane Smite, but it'll be a little less abusable. | ||

For what it's worth wicked built this item after warden's mail on maokai vs C9, and became insanely tanky really quickly, and was able to constantly peel for his team. I'm still of the opinion RoA is better first item buy for Maokai, and that RG doesn't work that well as a 2nd item follow up (cuz you need resistance/armor). | ||

It doesn't feel that great as a first buy because it's not much HP for the cost, and as a follow-up I'm not sure (Randuin's prob better 2nd item after Ghostblade/BotRK). The utility is nice, but Olaf still needs the stats to make an impact once he's in there, and his priority is still reaching the enemy, he won't want to pop his ult just to get in range then have it down. Sure would love an ally buying it though. | ||

But if I get top I'm going to want to play some Lissandra to be less of a shitter, Kennen because I find his laning super interesting and I wish we'd see his kind of ult come back in the meta, and now I've got Jax to try out a bit and see if I can get something out of him too.
