I feel the new Golem is a nerf for Amumu because he benefits from the Spirit Stone better while Spirital Wraith is pretty meh.

Spirit stone just feels way better on champs who have mana issues, it's stupid because champs like amumu or ww would really enjoy the new golem but they prefer the regen of spirit stone... quill coat is just an other awkward item that was created without thinking too much because "tank junglers can't attack so they need to do damage by being attacked". I bet my hat the item WILL be changed or even removed in the next 6 months.

I think his mana regen is fine with SOTAG. He needs to build FH or IBG for base mana as his 2nd item though for sure in my experience, which doesn't work so well with SOTAG bonus health thing. Occasionally you have to get locket before those too if they have a lot of magic damage which is annoying.
Spectral wraith hasn't been the go to item on mummy since they started messing with sotag giving mana regen based on damage to monsters imo.

Quill coat seems like you dont get enough mana or health back to make it worth while, and its basically just there to take up space tbh.

FH and IBG are not really that great on Amumu. At least not early.
Also this may be just me, but usually when I used to play Amumu I get CDR boots with the old Golem which had tenacity, so the build path was perfect.

It does seem to me that higher ranked players (i.e. high diamond/challenger on NA) prefer going for Wraith as Amumu, but lower division players prefer Golem.

Why isn't FH great? Mana/cdr/armor all seem like the perfect stats for amumu imo.

HP is better than resistances early, shroud really, really sucks as an item since they kept nerfing it (losing CDR could have been worse, then they removed some mana for the price which was somewhat fine, then they removed vest in favour of cloth, much cheaper but also jack shit for armour, like half the price of the item is fucking mana), and if you buy FH you dump 2.5k+ gold for no HP at all. It doesn't help your tankiness at all and their mid will shrug and one-shot you as you try to initiate.

Not really feeling comfortable on Elise anymore buildwise. Tanky doesn't feel like it does enough damage. Damage gets blown up. Midway feels super meh with the Golem change.

It looks like everybody's switched over to spectral wraith on Elise. Saint and Helios were discussing how it feels kind of awkward to build her now as well.
