It looks like his small form attack range will be really short. The surrender at 20 post shows him getting +250 range in small form, so if his melee is the standard 125 that would put him at only 375 which is very short, aatrox with ult on is 325. If his melee form is 175 like hecarim, jarvin, wukong; then his ranged form would be 425, the same as urgot.

Playing Kennen top with 550 range can be difficult. It looks like it will be really easy to jump on Gnar. Slice and dice has 450 range for comparison.

Here's a video of Gnar attacking in mini Gnar form. I'm assuming it's showing his max range, since all their videos usually do that.


His range seems pretty short in mini form, well within the range of pretty much any melee gap closer. Plus, the fotm top laners like Lulu and Gragas won't really care about his range.

well, he was starting to see a little more play in professional games until they disabled him. Shen was a good counter pick to the fotm bruisers. He's probably not so good against the Lulus, Nidalees, and Gragases tho.

Gnar has 400 range at level 1, and 508 at level 18 (he gains 6 per level according to his base stats, and range, like AS bonus, counts from level 2 contrary to the other stats). So yeah he's pretty low range, and because his abilities are total AD ratios with low bases his damage won't scale that well 'cept for obviously W (something like 15 + 0.35 AP + 5% of target's max health per auto/ability once maxed and while in mini Gnar form, shit hurts).
Cant take LMS hipsters serious.

She has insane damage/utility/catch/engage pretty much everything except a strong laning phase and a hook.

He also has damage based on his max hp.

Yeah but his base HP is super weak. Just loow at how he gains 65 HP per level. Of course we need more info about the bonuses given by his various forms.
Base HP and HP/level is horrendous but big form gains a bunch of flat HP (prob scales with level).
No MR/level and below average armour (good base, very bad growth) (big form gets bonuses).
Slightly below average AD (big form gets bonuses).
Particularly low AS (because of poor growth) (little form gets bonuses).
Lowest MS (little form gets a bonus).
Absurdly low hp5 (no idea about bonuses).

I wasn't clear, sorry, I meant that usually total AD ratios are lower, and they're associated with low base damage too, which means that although they tend to be stronger at early levels they taper off quickly if you level such abilities first and buy AD, compared to a similar bonus AD ratio ability.
Cant take LMS hipsters serious.
