that change to pantheon's w is actually super legit

like not "i'm going to see lcs play on the regular" legit but it gives him an option outside of "all-in and pray it works" and he is a slightly more competent jungler

Is there a known bug where Super Minions don't spawn? Just had a game where we had mid inhibitor down and I noticed we had no supers in that lane.

The inhibitor had been down for over 3 minutes and there were no super minions to be seen.

Whilst I absolutely agree with you this has always been Riots policy. DotA focuses more on what unique things a hero can do while LoL focuses more on the category/role and champions are flattened out to fit into them. I much prefer the DotA style but Riot has like the best business and marketing sense on the planet so I'm here instead.

Indeed, but they haven't figured it out, as evidence by the toplane Manaless problem. Although, the Mundo issue might be solved by the assist gold changes (at least temporarily). Its like they make a champ with mana, or without, and build them the same way, then act confused why manaless champs dominate the role that they are designed for.

can someone tell me why panth w change is such a huge buff? gives him another spell to jungle/lane with, and some mobility? seems to me like if you use it on minions to gapclose your stun is on cd, which is a bit selfdefeating

It allows you to run, gives you more options.

Most notably, gives you am escape in lane which makes you much harder to gank.

What, you thought that having an AoE shield + speed buff on your party on a 8s CD is overpowered? Or that with her your team should NEVER get caught out, or have near-perfect disengage combined with Talisman? Or is it that she has a bunch of front-loaded damage on her Q so she can help bully in lane, then Mantra E for team fights?

The worst thing about this whole Karma being really good right now, is imagine if the old Karma was in 3.14.

That would be like the best champ in the game by far.

She doesn't have an AoE shield and speed buff on an 8 second cooldown...?


Inspire is a 10s cooldown, get a CDR item or run CDR runes (Athene's is generally what I get) and combine it with Mantra for the AoE. Otherwise it's a single target shiled + speed buff. But you know what I meant, her Mantra E'd plus Talisman active means your team should disengage or engage fine.

Yes, but the Manaless problem isn't some new preseason problem. The only manaless champion that hasn't been a problem at some point since the start of S3 is basically Mordekaiser. You could make arguments for Kennen and Vlad not being problems as well, but Riot is actively trying to keep Vlad weak (and somehow failing) because they hate sustain on ranged characters (or something, hell, I agree he is stupid).

And people might think that its only toplane, but thats pretty much a myth. Botlane doesn't have manaless characters, the popular mana-using mids get crippled without blue buff, and the top 2 junglers use .5 of a mana bar.

Great point. Although I hate the idea of manaless champs, if they were to have manaless ones, it should be someone like morde ; costs health, has no cc or gapcloser.

Or someone like the S2 Garen who pretty much became useless if he didn't destroy you before you got a chainvest.
