they should just make it more expensive instead of nerfing it, the cdr hurts it no doubt but this change does nothing to prevent the 20 min unkillable killing machine problem. It's just too easy to get 6 slotted on tanks at the moment.

Ran into orb and apparently haemonculus (sp?) playing on my smurf, was fun to play against a syndra that actually knew how to stun people and setup a good siege situation but they were a bit too far behind to win teamfights and we had a couple good catches in a row that set up free inhibs:

You're doing the math assuming you're buying it at level 1. (incorrectly, and in a dishonest way, i might add. you clearly know it takes 15 levels, but multiply 10*15 = 200 to inflate your case.)

if you're able to buy the full sunfire before level 10, you're so fed it doesn't matter.

realistically it's ~5dps nerf when first bought and scales slightly better into the late game. all things considered it's not actually a change that will affect you.


it's not 200 magic damage lost, that magically disappears at level 15. it's a scaling dps loss with math that doesn't exist levels 1-10.

it basically scales from 35-43 damage per second instead of 40 at all levels. absolutely minor change that does nothing but get people like you to overreact and stop bandwagoning it.

Is orb still a flaming baby like in sc2?

On a more serious note, I like the cdr change on visage. I buy that item nearly every game. It's so broken good. Randuins and sunfire can be interchanged depending on the timing but how often do you see bv vs visage? Cdr, hp and mr = awesome stats. The passive is just a nice bonus.

Not sure since I obviously couldn't see his team chat etc. but he seemed fine at the end of the game.

I think going all the way down to 10% might be a little overkill but since it's still a great item as you mentioned it should be a good nerf. It's pretty irritating as a mage player when tops + junglers just build that one item and you do no damage to them for half the game while they get great stats on top of that.

OK time to pull out my S2 main again.

At least now her Q doesn't cost twice what almost everybody else's did.

I wouldn't mind if they ended up buffing her autoattack, but considering how much time I put into learning how to lasthit with that animation/projectile speed, makes me kinda sad.

I actually don't mind Visage's cdr going down to 10%. It's currently too cost-effective. Virtually every single tank champion will buy visage regardless if they want the healing passive. I don't get the Sunfire nerf though; I hardly think the damage was a problem on the item. It was highly bought because it's the only good splitpush item - Tiamat/Hydra doesn't count because it's generally too risky a buy on champions that actually want to splitpush.

Kassadin was banned in all 4 Battle of the Atlantic games and 12/12 games in the EU promotion/relegation tournament.

So yeah I think he's completely in need of a nerf at a competitive level.
