With all the additional damage and shit that's going to come from "supports" (read: Zyra and co) I'm not sure how I'll enjoy playing tanky champions in this patch, like Nautilus, Maokai, etc. you already fall off a lot mid-late game because you're not scary anymore unless you're helping an ally dive, so you're barely able to block and hinder people by standing in their way, being hard to finish off. If there's another additional source of respectable damage in the late game now, you're going to die even faster, making your late game usefulness even worse.

Eve 100% ban rate for sure now. No oracles and you can't even pink your own lane to stop her ganks because the ward is visible WTF. Permanent stealth can't co-exist with lack of truesight.

Honestly, all this support gold utility scaling is cute, but I still can't really see any of it beating out the likes of Zyra and Fiddlesticks using their new gold to stack AP and deal more damage than the farming laners.

Yea I honestly feel that Janna and Soraka were hugely nerfed. Riot tried a bit too hard to push the whole supports buying AP thing. For them to gain parity with their pre-3.14 versions they need like 200+ AP. I also think Taric got nerfed pretty heavily, which also doesn't make any sense to me.
Personally, I think the whole AP scaling cc thing is only going to backfire. So many support skills were toned down in favor of having AP scaling, but with gold income changes bruiser/caster supports will gain viability while old traditional supports will be cast by the wayside due to lower base damages and cc durations.

I don't see how "traditional supports" are better off after that. It feels to me like burst caster and tanky stuff will be alot better in the "support role" now... Just get one of those burst champions that only need 2 items to fuck shit up (annie, syndra ect). She will get those 2 items and now you got 2 guys capable of bursting stuff instead of 1 and 1 support who is just getting enough ap to offset the base nerfs to his abilitys.

Some of the supports seem like they could be strong at full build AP style.
Not sure about everything else. Seems like Riot Balance team spent a few days sitting in brainstorm conferences.

Unless you have godlike reactions, by the time you'd see her with oracles you'd be in detection range anyway.

The limited pink wards+visible pinks wards is far more impactful in terms of buffing Eve than loss of oracles.

I'm pretty skeptical of the true-support scaling changes. I never played Nami (or Lulu etc) and thought "Fuck! If only I had more utility that would make the difference." You can't go glass-cannon AP as a support, you'll just explode, but unless you get scrooge mcduck piles of cash now you still won't be able to afford to get enough AP to make up the scaling AND the requisite tankiness to make up for your non-damage-threat status. And if you do get McDuck $'s, why are you not playing a full carry and making better use of that resource? I think the supports that didn't receive the scaling changes will likely be the most common/powerful still (Zyra, Fiddle, Annie) with Leona & Thresh because they have such solid kits.
Related rant: Why do all of the support items have fucking regen on them? Like No means No Riot. Stop it.

Pink only cost 75 gold now, and the duration is indefinite. Moreover, it's 5 health, so if you place pink and make sure to protect it, you'll be fine. Even if you don't protect it, the enemy will take a while to kill it, and you can just simply put another one down.
