Although note that oracle's never did anything to eve because the vision range for oracles was less than the range where eve becomes visible If this game was 1v1 you'd be right. In a team oracles did a lot by denying Eve entry points to the backline. No? A person standing anywhere is just as effective(well, ineffective) at detecting an Eve as a person with oracles. Pink ward spam was how you prevented her from getting easy/undetected flanks.

Lulu actually doesn't fare too badly with these changes. Her passive gets hit a bit, but it's honestly not that bad. Her Q got straight buffed. W nerfed, but you only need 50 AP to reach parity with old W movespeed boost, which isn't hard especially with new support items. You lost the AP bonus, but honestly you mostly used W to cc the enemy OR to help someone run away; in both cases the AP granting is pretty minimal imo. E got hit pretty hard. Lulu fares pretty well in this patch compared to say Janna, who got absolutely hammered in every aspect. But it's after already nerfing her early game so much that she was already in a bad spot, compared to Janna, who's been top 3 in win percentage for a LONG time now. Lulu hasn't been good as a support for months now, and these changes will only make her less popular and viable. Eh. Lulu's popularity has been rising a bit as of late, especially in OGN. She did get her early game hit, but it's not as bad compared to Janna.
Janna's top 3 win rate in solo q is deceptive for determining her strength. Historically, supports have always had very high win rates, with a few exceptions. While Janna's winrate in solo q is high, likely due to her ability to bail your team out of terrible fights, her existence in the pro scene is minimal.

oh look, you need 600 AP to get to where you were season 3. goodluck. We're totally fine with fiddle and zyra though. GG
Nah, Zyra and Fiddle will just get nerfed, hard. Possibly along with like Ori, Annie, Leblanc, Lux, Liss, Morg, etc (whichever of them become popular supports), probably along with some random champs like Xin and Aatrox who are really quite frightening already in kill lanes. One thing Riot always seems to do is get mad when things don't fit the meta they envision (even though they say they dont enforce it).

If riot misses this opportunity to make a pi joke, I'm going to be so Alaric, I am disappoint.
If the next three patches aren't labeled: Patch 3.141
Patch 3.1415
Patch 3.14159
I will do nothing but play teemo in ranked for all of sesaon 4.
EDIT:
Hey Ketara, I summon you!
Hybrid penetration marks vs AD marks on teemo.(running 30-0-0 masteries, 26 flat AP from runes(blues/quints). ap/lvl yellows for 17 at level 18. difference in level 1 harass damage?
Difference at level 9? 18?
level 1 teemo vs nasus with 19 armor, 30 MR, dorans shield.
18magic, 52physical, 7 7 7 7 dot damage.
vs
17magic, 56physical, 7 7 7 7 dot damage
-5 MR is like a 2-3% damage increase depending on target MR.
ad runes seem to add ~4 damage per auto, and you lose about 1-2 damage from magic sources(fractionally lower damage from the dot doesn't seem to matter. might total 27 instead of 28. hard to tell in a quick bot game test)
In a real game they'd have a lot more than 19 armor. the Arpen would be less effective than it is at 19 armor, and I would expect the damage gain to be closer to 5 damage per auto than 4.

At least they removed a that stat/recipe rather than remove it altogether. Force of Nature was (and still is) one of my most favorite items when I first got into League.

Is Jinx competitively viable? I saw someone playing her on stream today and she seemed great at tower pushing, and overall a decent ADC.

I thought she seemed pretty good as well. Surprised there is so much more Lucian in OGN. Maybe it's just the meta not favoring hyper carries at the moment.
Edit: Also, I really like the Crucible change, seems like the closest implementation of a cheaper support item with the active being the main focus. Also I really like getting chalice in lane because I play against bad players and being able to just spam spells when they misplay is nice lol.

What are the chances that riot revert any of these castrationschanges?
What am i supposed to do with forecast Janna now?
I cant even reliably get her in ARAMs...

The support changes are interesting, I'll be playing a lot of support to see how it plays out. Leona got a bit stronger, I can appreciate that.

uhhhh no, twitch/kog/trist can easily outcarry her, I think she's stronger than vayne late though.

it's probably not very easy to play a champ without any kind of dash/jump at the highest levels of play

Not to mention having an execute for an ability allows her to farm up gold quite easily. Great for kaing to get her rolling as well.

I'm watching TheOddOne's stream and he has over 200K IP. Just thought I would mention that.
On another note, how much IP should I save up for when I'm 30 and need to get a couple rune pages.

all 3 of those carries have ways to catch up to their targets.

I understand what Riot is trying to do, but I much prefer Season 4 to the "2014 Season"

Jinx is the best of Kog/Trist/Twitch+her because her midgame is strong. Trist is still the best overall once you get to a certain point; her Range +Q + Self Peel is really good. Jinx can take dragons with her team in like 1/2 the time though at lvl 6, 9, etc. In fact, that is really what makes her so scary to me. If you get any advantage at the bottom half of the map (like a kill bot, mid, or on the jungler, or just force 1 back) she takes the drag soooooo fast with just like, double dorans.
|
mhm, she's like draven in the sense that since she gets gold so fast so her late-game comes sooner, doesn't mean her lategame is strong.
