Please do make GP and Renekton really popular. I would love to play top lane Poppy and win easy games.

You can stay out of the range of E or move around so that its difficult to aim E and dodge the E.

If he lands the Slice though you're sort of screwed without counterplay. I start 31 armor runes vs Renekton.

GP passive actually sort of counters poppy

Fizz has well and truly hit Solo queue. It's great when they are on the enemy team, but sucks when they are on yours. No one knows how to play him. It's quite hilarious actually. Troll pole seems less frustrating vs these bandwagoners. And the whiffed ults.... wow.

I mean it's bronze, bordering on silver. Why don't you play a champ that you are good at and you know well? Sure I bet you want to channel some Faker or Cool or whatever, but come on, at least have a go at working out how the kit works. Particularly the troll pole.

e.g. I first picked Morg mid and the other guy picked Fizz into me. I had 6 kills in fairly short order.

I was under the impression that Poppy was a really terrible laner and that Renekton is a lane bully. Sure, Poppy has her passive and W to make it more difficult for Renekton to trade as well, but Renekton still gets to harass for no cost with sustain.

GP vs Poppy in a matchup GP can only win if he gets ahead early. Sure its hard to lose the lane with oranges, but Poppy is happy to get a lane where she can freefarm, and scales infinitely better than GP into lategame.

Renekton might get semi free harass, but Poppy's E-Q combo is quite nasty too, and she can build early armor to ignore him completely - Again freefarm on a champion that scales incredible into late game.

Poppy is a weak laner, but if the opposition can't punish it, she WILL outscale him.

Also, Shikyo your comparison on olaf vs zed is flawed. The first flaw is obviously how much qss/zhonyas/exhaust destroys zeds damage, but more importantly is that you are looking at it from a 1v5 perspective and not a teamfight perspective. Sure zed can get in and get out easily. But he is also much easier to kill once you lock him down. With olaf you HAVE to focus him because your adc can't do any damage if he is getting destroyed by an olaf, so it forces you to pressure him. In the zed situation the team isn't committed to focus the zed until he's targetable and then you can kill him quickly, so it's more of a reaction timing (exhaust and cc from support for example) than a team damage output problem.

Olaf might feel weak if you just run in and die, and meh if you run in and don't die, but from their perspective everyone focusing an olaf who still doesn't die is extremely frustrating to deal with.

The thing is Poppy cannot do anything without taking damage in return. And in the case of GP, that damage in return is a DoT that bypasses the passive, and GP can just heal up with oranges.

Renekton has his Q for sustain, W to stop you from doing anything, and EE to keep himself as safe as possible.

EQ does hurt, but a majority of the E damage only hits if you manage to collide against terrain. Anyone that knows that can just sit in the middle of the lane, since top is so damn wide that secondary damage and the stun is never going to hit. Poppy can burst, but with her pitiful mana pool and prohibitive costs on her E and her Q not being spammable, she won't be able to stay in lane nearly long enough to make it to that monstrous late game.

Edit: Renekton's skills have no cost. Not semi-free, free.

So olaf has the most attack speed steroids of anyone now? geez. 80% from strikes and then 1% per 1% missing hp. on low health thats like 170% attack speed and 30% extra healing. O.o
