Also, am I correct in thinking going in at lvl 2 (unless the enemy is lvl 1 still) is generally not as good as going in at lvl 3? But I feel like if I don't try something at level 2 (if we even get there without being shat on) the enemy laners have no fear in poking my adc... are people like janna/vayne/thresh (they can knock me back even if I hit E) really good counters to leona? | ||

Actually in order to get leona to work well, your adc and you need to coordinate to activate the solar flare debuff on the enemy - it means you have to focus the same target - and usually that should be the enemy adc, because you loose a lot of damage if you dont activate the solar flares so switching targets is not good usually so you cannot do the target the supp switch to overextended adc as well as other teams. I usually go when i have W up, i.e. level 3 or higher, leona becomes a real tank with W activated. also 3 solar flares activated deals alot of damage. You are a kill lane in the sense with no sustain, so bring 5 pots and keep drinking, stay at full hp so youre ready when you all-in them. First buy is for me 2 pink, 5 pots and ward or just one pink, remember your most important job as supp is to keep map vision for team (ward) and reduce enemy vision (pink ward/oracle) Good luck. | ||

I think with undertow and the spell vamp from W I think he'd still be a strong 1v2 champ even when bot lanes got good at 1v2 | ||
