Kerrigan Zyra. I'm so tempted.

it was discussed to death in the other thread so if you want to get into it you can just read it, but interlaced even if 3 bans would increase draft strategy and playable champions to an amount I feel it's foolish not to do it.

The only way top-level games would appear snowbally is if you're watching exclusively EU games where teams are poorer at retaining vision control and farming efficiency in losing games than Asian teams but also not shitty enough to throw lategame they way NA teams do. Not snowbally?? 100 percent win percentage of first inhib... like 96 % for baron... There are no comebacks because once the lanes push... your whole jungle is warded and cleared from the other team.. u can't move out of your base. All the top champs are the snowball champs. C9 lost first blood in game 3... they lost the game 1 min in. That's not snowbally?? LOL I also heard there's a 100% win rate for first nexus.

I am just hoping that the S4 changes will keep things fresh. I really liked just how much the game changed in the beginning of S3, particularly in regards to items. It led to a lot of experimentation and discovery of what works well, which is my favorite part of this game.

s3 was really better then s2 but it always felt like less and less changed as the season drew on. the s1 jungle was so much better then s2 and s3 jungles I wish we could go back to the bad old days where you had to specificaly be a jungle champ to jungle and not just need help with the first camp and away you go. Fourth camp seems really interesting but I'm very sceptical on it doing anything. ultra high mobility junglers like udyr panth ez and shen might be able to just stay in the jungle constnatly and just counter gank when the enemy jungler shows his face.
Pissed as fuck they're removing the support role from being able to ward properly no one is going to ward now and its just going to make it harder for the support to do their job.

So, from what I can read/tell from this initial posting about what they plan to do with s4, here's what I'm able to gleam from the information:
Source: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/features/preseason-draws-closer?ref=rss&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
- Adding a new item slot for ward-type items only - More types of wards - Max limit on # of wards a player can carry - Changes to jungle to make carry-style junglers (aka Meteos style) easier/better - Introducing a 4th enemy camp in the jungle to make it easier for junglers to plan a route - Buffing supports with their gold income and increase utlility (not dmg.) in fights - Changes to first blood and kill distribution of gold to make snowballing harder on a champ/team - Changes to Runes and Masteries - Changes to brush mechanics and brush layout (as noted by YouGotNothin) - Introduction of something called the Trinket system (as noted by onlywonderboy)
Did I miss anything specific?

I'm interested to see what the trinket system entails specifically. I'm kinda surprised they are doing the ward slot + limit per player, figured it would be one or the other. Regardless, I'm interested to see the discussion these posts are going to start. Haven't had much to say in the off season aside from roster changes.

I would play jungle Rengar every game.

Apparently there are vision changes.
Does this mean Oracles and pink wards work like SC2/wc/w/e else
I remember that was one of the most confusing things I ever encountered learning the game. Where other guy pinked my ward, I bought a pink to counter, put it in the river, cleared bush and promptly went WTF?????!! when he cleared my ward without me ever having seen a pink.
|
Pshh, they should just make wards not invisible and get rid of the bushes in top/bottom.

Those are incredibly loaded statistics because nobody risks Baron or high ground unless they're already ahead enough to have a very low chance of losing to begin with. High ground push throws and Baron throws are signs of teams playing poorly, not a game that allows for comebacks. Competitive league is just a terrible place to try and apply statistics to because variable isolation is like 0, covariances are all a million, and sample sizes are insufficient.
But herp derp the new generation culture is like "if there is numbers it must be true!!!!!!!!"

not liking the idea of making farm jungler more viable. junglers are the ones getting the early kills and producing action. if everyone just safe farms for 10 minutes then it's just zzz

I think League is snowbally because the items give you stats. In DotA the items give you things that don't translate into direct stats like blink daggers and shit. Meks. Bottles. I don't think DotA is as snowbally but correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not saying the changes are good or bad, I'm saying they don't appear to be addressing #1 on my wishlist, I'll take a wait and see with the rest.
