Hello friends.

Gamers sit too much and are too little physically active, causing health issues such as pain, injuries, and increased all-cause mortality. But is this true for all gamers, or does being on a team make them more aware of these issues and take appropriate measures? Here's a study answering this question.

Would have loved some references added for the BW pro scene. At least some team houses were really focused on the "full body health" aspect of being an eSports athlete. SKT had a dedicated ajumma cooking healthy food, fried chicken was a treat enjoyed only after Proleague or Starleague wins (or late at night outside of the coach's line of sight, IIRC), there were daily workout regimens, and team-building exercises involved soccer matches, hiking up tall mountains (there is a funny anecdote, likely exaggerated, of iloveoov doing the course twice while some other progamer gave up half way through). It would have brought some anecdotal, grounded, visual, multimedia flavor to your article IMO

And would be especially relevant since you are posting these on TL!

Korean esports teams and South Korea in general have an epidemic level myopia problem. the way koreans use their screens is unhealthy.

It almost feels like a sin if you're not staring at your phone the entire time you're on a bus/train.

Sitting on a train or bus I'd try the Bates Method "rock and sway". Standing on a bus or train ... I'd do the qigong Elephant Swing. It relaxes the vision and improves lymph flow throughout the brain, neck, and eyes.
