What are 2 other pokemons I should have on my team? They don't need to be Jayce level OP but should be at least as strong as Nasus or Renekton and need to not be permabanned by Nintendo's random rules. I personally would go with lucario and espeon. Those 3 have good type coverage and are very strong but not OP or anything. Is espeon good against AI? I always thought that espeon would be more suited to competetive, or singles 6, and guessing battles. Espeon is pretty cute though. Espeon is super cute and OP tier. But she's a set up pokemon and you need to build around it. Less good against AI because harder to abuse Magic Bounce (ability from Dream World) to its fullest. If you want to set up then you want to abuse things like Prankster-Whimsicott or Entrainment-Durant to set up your sweeper who just clears the field for you. They don't need to be Jayce level OP but should be at least as strong as Nasus or Renekton and need to not be permabanned by Nintendo's random rules. What's the entire team? I can't really say anything if I don't know what else is going with the Salamence lol. Also what are Salamence's specs? Mixmence? Physical? ChoiceSpecsDracoMeteor? And is this for Battle Subway or Elite 4/World Tournament grinding or what? Probably going to be choice scarf physical mence or dd mence. This is for Battle Subway/World tournament crap, or whatever is for the three man single battle thing. It would also be used for battling people online possibly and most definitely for trashing little kids that think they are good at pokemons (although honestly with just salamence i could beat all 3 because they are worse than ai). Short answer is in nintendos singles 3 thing. All I know is that I want a fuckin Salamence. I've made themed teams in the past and now I just want random pokemons. Scarf-Mence is poor for Battle Subway because it's used as a revenge killer that then takes over. In the Battle Subway you have so few pokemon to begin with you're not realistically going to get a Scarf-Mence Moxie sweep off. Because by that time either they're already dead or you're dead. If you have a hard set-up support handy then you want to go hard set-up sweep like with Dragon Dance Salamence/Dragonite or Quiver Dance Volcrona or something. Honestly, if you want to just set up sweep everything just go Encore-Whimsicott, let it die, then go Entrainment Durant, swap into your sweeper, use Protect to block every odd turn, set up, sub up and sweep. The AI is too stupid to swap out its Encore-Truant pokemon so you don't even need to Arena Trap it. It's a very mechanical way of grinding the Battle Tower and not a lot of thinking involved in playing this strategy, but it works. Also if you Choice Specs/Focus Sash the two leads then you're also 100% hax proof. And anyone who's played since the Battle Frontier in Gen III knows the AI is a hax-god that will hax you every time it can. Before anyone joins the LoL Staff, I interview them about their favourite Eeveelutions. Anyway. Arcanine is bad. Great base stats but really shallow move pool. Ditch him. Get a Heatran for your fire needs and is also a defensive tank. Hm. How competitive do you want to be? Cause I wouldn't actually use any of them lol. If you're just playing for fun then just use whatever you want really haha. Also some stuff can be hard to get or need breeding. If you're not breeding or whatever, your IV/EVs will likely be far more impactful than your overall team choice and strategy tbh. Although the best Eeveelution competitively is probably Jolteon (Choice Specs, Life Orb or Choice Scarf with Thunderbolt/Hidden Power Ice coverage for at least neutral to everything and Signal Beam/Substitute/Baton Pass/Volt Switch) and Espeon (Magic Bounce support).
What i got from this. Espeon is cute and Durant and whimsicott is ugly.
TY for advice.

Or you can just call them and ask them in detail exactly what to do, should work as long as you don't hate each other. That's exactly what I do when I'm cooking something I am not sure about. HEY MUM I GOT NO POTATOES CAN I BAKE THE MEAT WITH PASTA INSTEAD? NO I DONT HAVE ANY CREAM. OK OIL I DO HAVE THANKS MUM LOVE YOU <3 except you ask about how to clean up the house ^^^^^^ this is doubly topical because if you bake the pasta without any oil they will +1def.

i definitely don't have time to play competitively.
i haven't played since blue, where i captured all 150 pokemon and then saved my game and never touched it again. i only desire to have something to do on the ride to LCS and back, not to get too crazy (also i have to beat vileroze when we battle, but that shouldn't be a problem, when i last checked, he was only using his emboar. like, literally the only pokemon he used)
i want to make sure that my pokemon are the best mix of: cute, powerful, and having a diversity of moves, in that order. i'll take 6 middling pokemon as long as they're all cute as fuck. considering doing a full eevee team but iirc they take a long time to catch and get rolling. i also have a really weird neurosis where i like fully triple-evolved pokemon except in rare cases (snorlax, eevees, the pan/simi line, and darumaka CAUSE THAT GUY'S SO CUTE); i ALSO have a weird neurosis where i feel like it's a requirement to have a move of every type on my final team. so pokemon that can learn a variety of moves (i usually like 3 offensive, 1 defensive/utility, and there's 15 types right? so i can't afford to overlap any offensive move types if i have an HM slave) are also cool.
i know those are crazy requirements but i start to feel anxious when i play pokemon thinking "OH THERE COULD BE A BUG/STEEL POKEMON COMING UP AND I DON'T HAVE A FIRE MOVE, HOW CAN I POSSIBLY BEAT HIM" etc.
i'm also getting a weird feeling in my stomach thinking about not having a vaporeon on my team. hands down cutest eeveelution. maybe i'll restart so i can get vaporeon :x sorry m00nb34r, can't do heatran, too ugly and doesn't evolve = nonono
GRASS
anyway, how's this for a team then: samurott - water, ice, normal moves arcanine/simisear - fire, rock, ground moves electavire - electric, fighting, normal moves espeon - psychic, ghost, bug moves hydreigon - dark, dragon, flying moves bibarel - HM slave
AHHHHH IT HURTS ME that none of them can really learn a grass move. team won't work. gg.
don't judge me

Is it okay to start a topic in this forum about finding a ranked 5v5 EU team ?

Around college first year age? Still people need to keep in mind not everyone has the same amount of world experience. Dude is two thousand miles from home, living with a team of awkward, introverted gamers whose #1 priority is competitive performance -- in these kinds of situations it's really stressful to bring up problems when the resulting argument might hurt their play, especially if not everyone on the team is on the same page.
I'd probably have similar problems in that situation.+ Show Spoiler [anecdote] +Hell right now TakashiX is the only one with his name on our lease -- me and TreeEskimo have to run things through him. It's a lot less stressful to just focus on graduating

A Cutemon team? I have just the thing for you.
- Espeon lead with Dual Screens (Reflect and Light Screen) to just neuter all opposing damage (no one uses Brick Break anymore). Could also Calm Mind and Stored Power.
- Cinccino cause it's so adorably cute and amazing and wow it's probably not that good but hey it's cute
- Jolteon because every team needs at least two Eeveelutions
- Victini because everyone knows the best offence is a good offence. Am I doing this right?
- Shaymin because it's so adorable and has a unique signature move for extra style points
- And finally Vaporean because having 50% of your team as Eeveelutions is cool. Plus it rounds out with a bulky water type.
(But in all seriousness that is not actually a good team.)
As for a real recommendation, If you're just going a whole load of powerful semi-sweepers then that sort of team should be ok. I would probably want to position it so that your Hydreigon is your wall breaker who just comes in and wrecks stuff. Give it Life Orb and it's awesome move pool (Draco Meteor/Fire Blast/Super Power/Dark Pulse/Earthquake/Dragon Pulse/Focus Blast) means it'll generally be able to choose something at least neutral damage if not super effective. The rest of the team can be semi-sweepers who can set up and sweep low hp stuff in a pinch, but their primary role is just to wear down your opponent's pokemons so Hydreigon can come in and just smash stuff to small pieces.
I personally thing Volcrona works much better than Arcanine or Simisear because it's type coverage is superior and it's a good secondary sweeper thanks to Quiver Dance. But I also really like Volcrona so ymmv. It can learn Giga Drain though the grass coverage can come from there.

The whole MRN drama makes me laugh.
The entire team should be blamed for being idiots and renting out a fucking beach house. Who the fuck does that when your career is so unstable? Especially when you're a new team and don't have the sponsors that Dig, TSM, CLG, etc. have to fall back on if something goes terribly wrong.
Who the fuck does that.

you just used a lot of words that i don't know the meaning of dual screens, sweepers, wall breaker, etc etc etc. i'm really, really not looking to play competitively lol.
also that gyarados sounds so good. but then i'd have to restart so i didn't have to use my samurott. but if i restart and get pignite or snivy, then i want vaporeon instead of gyarados and that would defeat the point. RIP in peace

a quick glance over that list and i'm in love with delibird and grumpig cuteness overload
a bit surprised that ampharos is on there though. flaafy and mareep way cuter than him
also can someone tell me when it is best to evolve pokemon? as early or as late as possible? does this hold true with stone-evolving pokemon and trade-evolving pokemon as well?

I approve of pokemon discussion I don't understand why people care about MRN, it's not like Marn is ever going to have another LCS/Challenger team so it really just does not matter.

This pokemon talk is making me realise how people who don't lift feel when I discuss exercise science with my PT/exercise scientist bros >.< I don't even think I know the types of pokemon at this point.

I'm a little late on the maplestreet discussion but honestly it's not surprising to hear that maplestreet is more positive now that he's kind of seen the light outside of the high school/junior or community college (where everyone I had known to pass through still acts like they're still in high school)/reddit (where probably 2/3 posters is in high school)/League of Legends universe. Seriously, everyone in high school is tryhard and mad as fuck, trying to make themselves feel better about how insecure they are about themselves, so they act like dicks in their insular universe. Turns out, in the real world, being amicable and honest will take you a hell of a lot further, even if you appear kind of weird.
I can't say I blame MRN for their decision, though. There's a strong likelihood that most, if not all, of them will never have an opportunity to live in a beachfront property in Southern California ever again, so even if they encountered foreseeable financial issues, it's not like they're getting sued or are saddled with lots of debt as a result, and I think we'd all be lying if we said it wouldn't be damn cool to live there, even for 4 months. I'm 26 and I would advise 19 year old me to make the decision that they made.
EDIT: Although I would definitely advise 19 year old me not to trash the house and be that guy.
