He's manaless, that means he gets lots of free stats too. Somehow Riot forgot to give him a spammable free shield or sustain though, dunno what they were thinking.

would anyone living in socal be willing to host one of my players for a couple days after week 1's games? pls pm me

Considering Kennen needs to be in the middle of a fight to do the majority of his damage, I'd say his resists buff is far from bullshit.
Kennen is one of the best designed champs in league imo. His entire kit needs to be chained together in order to make full use of him.

And his entire team fight is dependent on getting a single item, without it he's worthless. Kennen is far from bullshit and it sounds like the guy just didn't know what to do vs. Kennen and/or got hard counter picked and is just complaining. Wanna beat Kennen? Play another ranged and just beat him straight up, Vlad/Ryze do this quite well and Jayce has 10x better poke.

And with it he's amazing, so don't make it sound like some big weakness.

Eh, I welcome the return of Kennen. At least he's fun to play, unlike other AP tops (looking at your Rumble and Vlad)

Yo may take this as a crazy suggestion, but try couchsurfers... ive hosted ppl and been one, and had nothing but good experiences. Especially around the areas with a university you should have good results.

It isn't rare that some of the more bullshit champs in the game are that way because they have an item that works really well for them.
Whether it's that way for Kennen or not is beyond me. I haven't played the guy since sub5.

39 days since Lissandra was released and Aatrox is still missing in action. The previous post-launch record was Quinn at 37 days (ignoring the 53 day gap between launch and Udyr). The past four, in fact, have taken roughly a month, with most taking longer. + Show Spoiler [Numbers] +- Lissandra: 32 days
- Zac: 28 days
- Quinn: 37 days
- Thresh: 35 days
I think it's good for the game that champions are taking longer, but it's interesting that Riot started taking longer on champions without much word of warning.

I think Riot has always said that they'll slow down release of champions as the number of champions increase. This is a good thing imo. It makes every new champ more fresh and exciting while also lets the game develop a lot more naturally. I believe LoL has surpassed DotA 2 in number of champions/heroes released.

I think they said openly, a while ago, they they were looking towards a 3-4 week cycle for champion rollouts. I guess they got tired of having a patch come out, and then hotfixing in a champion within a couple days of the patch. We're probably waiting on the Ultimate skin atm.

Consistency. Every other energy champion's ultimate is free. I think they'd rather that be consistent and rebalance the champs from there rather than have some energy champs have ultimates with costs and others be free.

I heard, at the time, he was the only energy champion who had an energy cost attached to its ultimate. Never bothered to check the veractiy of it.
No, gtr, Veracity. Shoo. + Show Spoiler +
EDIT: Just checked, it's true. Aaaand gtr got me Zed'ed.

I mean, in the beginning, Shen and Kennen both had energy costs on their ultimates and Akali's used charges, so it wasn't "inconsistent" for them to have a cost.
Then Lee got added with no cost, Shen's got removed, and Zed got added with no cost. THEN Kennen was the only energy champ with an energy cost on his ultimate.
Its sort of energy champ power creep, really.
