This is double relevant in this thread, I managed to get both Pokemon and LoL in one post. Wost PKMN player ever. 1. Picks Squirtle 2. Catches a Rattata (The EXP gain from killing on your main is much more useful) 3. Catches a Pidgey (Ditto) Also, clearly Spearow is the crow. Pidgey is Fiddle, at Best First of all, Squirtle is the best, it's not even up for discussion.
Second of all, do you know how Nuzlocke works? As below:
- Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released.
- The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances. If the first encounter in the area is a Double Battle in dark grass, the player may choose which of the two Pokémon they would like to catch.
- While not exactly a definite rule, the general consensus is that players must also nickname all of their Pokémon, for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds.
- Also not a definite rule, but the general consensus is that a black out/white out is considered to be "game over", even if there are Pokémon left in the PC.
Rattata and Pidgey were who I got for Rt 1 and 2, I'm hoping for a Nidoran on Rt 22.

Janna can't poke as well thresh opens himself up to a response from the melle support, and lulu is a more complex champ with a weaker shield (armor is better then flat hp and soraka gives flat hp that can be kept forever unlike a shield) finds herself on the wrong foot in allins in lane as well as not having the sustained damage soraka does (soraka doesn't need to turn and auto attack with her q and it instantly attacks all enemies around her instead of just picking one to damage). I'm fairly sure Leona/Draven or Taric/Graves would cream themselves if you pick Soraka. You'd think this (and they would probably too) but between tarics inability to initiate onto soraka and leonas utter inability to respond to a soraka they would slowly but surely lose health and position giving your adc space.

eh nautilus was a beast at the beggining of season 3, then they reduced small minions hp and increased big minions hp. from then naut was very wonky early cause you took ages to kill wolfs or wraiths at your second clear, shield would get destroyed and big wolf would still be at around 50% hp. he was not unplayable or anything, but it felt very weird struggling with camps. they buffed him in base armor after that, and it felt really good. suddenly when shield dyed bug monster would be at 25% hp and it sped up alot his early clear. Also the change of spirit of the ancient golem was a godsent at nautilus. before the change it was an attractive item on nautilus, but giants belt was way too costly so you would default to locket anyways. now that the item is built from kinddlegem it is the basolute best item that nautilus would want.. cdr and hp for shield tenacity cause you love mobys destroy the jungle with the extra damage.
what i'm trying to say is that nautilus revival is not random, he got buffed slightly but in hightly critical areas, and item changes were very good for him.
soraka is not unviable or extremly bad as some are saying. In fact saying that any champion is trash and unplayable no matter what is uneducated and dumb. Soraka is in a weird spot where she is very weak early levels (1 to 5) but doesn't have a super good scaling into the game. So if you're switching lanes, she doesn't do alot early but doesn't really use the harass free level up. if you go 2v2 you have to do it in certain matchup where you're not going to get jumped on and allined early. also i think she is not really favored with the support itemization these days.. right now supports are pretty much rushing red sightstone and after that shurelias if the jungler gets aegis. the support will get aegis otherwise. so you're pretty much itemizing health and cdr on supports these days. it suits very well some supports but i think soraka is more looking for ap cause she's not the one that does the baiting, she makes her teamates look like baits then healling them and giving them billions of armor. If riot let's say buffs a bit the support ap items (unlikely cause midlaners always ruin the fun at the end) soraka would see alot more of play

You have to catch stuff so you don't lose your game to hax. Like missing a Rage on a 1% chance with Charmeleon and watching it miss for 15 minutes as it slowly gets killed by a pokemon 10 levels below it... Also Raticate is a boss. Hyper Fang OP Riot please nerf.
Player learns Rage on his pokemon, opinion invalid.

Yea. Like I said. The EXP on Squirtle is better than having a pidgey. Although, I guess he is somewhat useful for having fly lategame if you never catch other flyers.
(of course you can just spam repel and catch one of the big 3).

Only good thing is HSGG bench. Nien top? What a waste of talent.
Well Chauster support might be good.
|
Hotshotgg finally steps down? even if the rest of the changes are weird, it will make clg a stronger team imo
|
Man too many people going to the CLG site, can't even get on.
|
Is this real life? I'm glad for Nien, but this looks like a recipe for disaster...
At least I don't have to watch Chauster jungle anymore.
|
Nien to top is interesting... I look forward to the godly Chaulift lane though
|
As a CLG fan, I like the changes. Nien is ridiculously talented and I think he'll end up doing really well in top lane (he's always looked good on ADC and when he played mid for awhile on Cloud9 his mid laning was really solid as well). Chauster is better than Aphro support and as long as he's willing to practice it I think Chauster+Doublelift can reclaim their title as #1 bot lane in NA. I'm skeptical of jiji in the jungle but am so fucking pumped to see jiji back in the pro scene. Even if jiji does badly I'm just super excited to know that he's back.
I hope that Hotshot enjoys his new role as a coach. I feel like it'll suit him better and it's ultimately the best move as I feel like being a starter on the team you own is a really bad combination that will ultimately hurt your team in the long run.
|
I feel Chauster is going to be very underwhelming as support now. Unless he really sharpens his mechanics, he's always going to be behind Asian supports. He has a lot of catching up to do. Nien I trust to do well/pick up any and all roles so I have no worries about him. It's interesting CLG now has 3 people that are deemed as great all role players with Link, Chauster and Nien. And jiji in jungle is just wtf. He was pretty bad at skill shots before and now he's put into a role where half of his job will be having to land skill shots. I really hope this change turns out well.

clg will not make it to worlds

Chauster doesn't have to be better than Asian supports. Just better than NA supports. Which really shouldn't be that hard considering he already has more experience than most NA supports despite playing jungle for the last eight months.
jiji in the jungle is weird for sure but I have faith in jijimon.
CLG just has to focus on being strong enough in NA to not get sent to relegation this split. They can worry about becoming good enough for international play in S4. Aside from jiji in the jungle I think this line up will do fine in the NA scene if they can get team work and cohesion down.
This is all guesswork from here down but w/e: Aphro had been complaining about being bored with support for awhile. I'm pretty sure he told CLG that he didn't want to be a support player anymore. It's likely that Hotshot had mentioned wanting to step down from the starting roster as Aphro was largely practicing top lane, probably to fill Hotshot's spot. After MRN was eliminated I think CLG saw the potential to pick up the most talented free agent in NA, Nien to fill top lane. This left Aphro with no real spot on the team. Hopefully he gets picked up by some team as I think Aphro is really solid.
|
Top or Jungle can't get much worse for CLG than how HSGG and Chauster were playing so probably an improvement there.
I don't know about Chauster support, i don't think he will return to his old glory and Aphro was looking pretty sharp.

I was playing against the battle institute today in pokemon white.
http://www.serebii.net/blackwhite/battleinstitute.shtml
I could not manage to beat more than like 3 of 5 trainers in the single battles challenge. Battle subway is tough too. I can't get a 14 win streak going or more than a 21 win streak. I'm looking up all the pokemon my enemy trainer uses so I know their pokemon's typing and weaknesses but I'm not looking up the exact items they're carrying or their movesets yet. Also I haven't EV trained and my pokemon are in the never used and rarely used categories... Here's my team how they were prior to beating the Elite Four the first time. They're higher levels now. + Show Spoiler +![[image loading]](http://imageshack.us/a/img818/39/15418410151176698581389.jpg) ![[image loading]](http://imageshack.us/a/img19/3838/69621101511766985363895.jpg) Team's sweeper. I'd use flash to lower the chance of getting crit, up my defence using items, then boost my speed and attack and sweep the leet 4. ![[image loading]](http://imageshack.us/a/img41/5296/66331015117669857638915.jpg) I wish this guy had a better move set. As a pure steel he has amazing typing. Decent stats. Gear grind sometimes misses, but thunderwave makes up for it. ![[image loading]](http://imageshack.us/a/img248/3883/22766210151176698531389.jpg) Caught this guy at around level 30 so he doesn't have many EVs and is therefore kinda weak and underleveled. Still he's the only bulky guy on my team who can switch in to a water type. ![[image loading]](http://imageshack.us/a/img836/9828/72890101511766985263892.jpg) I caught Archee bc I couldn't find any flying types I liked all game. In retrospect I didn't need a flying type and two rock types was overkill. ![[image loading]](http://imageshack.us/a/img46/7940/32101310151176698561389.jpg) Entry hazards like a pro :p ![[image loading]](http://imageshack.us/a/img843/23/15630610151176698601389.jpg) My starter
I plan on using hacks to get some stronger pokemon if I ever do intend to win the pokemon challenge and be acknowledged as a pro. Ev training takes too long.
|
Wow. CLG is a completly different team now. I don't know if I can sign on and be a fan anymore if hsgg isn't there.
Utterly shocked by jiji in the jungle and nein top. chausterlift was the best duo in the world when they were togeather.
