The fact that you can use it pre-engages isn't going to make it any better if the values are reduced as much as they are, and overall it just feels like it makes lux actually easier to play since you don't actually have to think as hard about shield timing since there are less conditions to get the full benefit of the shield.

Also, we're only looking for support and jungle atm but it's still quite hard to find.. Edit: I don't know if it's against the rules on TL, but I'll just leave this here: http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1dkfbk/new_diamond1_team_on_euw_lf_players/

There's a subreddit on reddit but it's mostly silver and gold players lololol

I imagine a reddit post wouldn't get upvoted enough.. you can try the official boards i played some teams, then looked them up later and sometimes their teams were composed of people they searched for on the na forums but then it's okay because i feel good when our scrappy team of solo q 2 golds/2 silvers/1 plat destroys that multi-plat/multi-diamond team. (and we've also been destroyed by these teams so it works both ways as well.) imo, more important than finding solo q stars is to find people who you can play with consistently, who enjoy playing, and who have a mindset to improve and fix their mistakes as a team. dealing with scheduling and internal conflict is much harder than fixing mechanical/laning/matchup issues.

The fact that it stacks doesn't make a whole lot of difference; previously if you shield at the right time, you get the full value out of both shields regardless. The fact that you can use it pre-engages isn't going to make it any better if the values are reduced as much as they are, and overall it just feels like it makes lux actually easier to play since you don't actually have to think as hard about shield timing since there are less conditions to get the full benefit of the shield. It is going to make Lux easier to play. It will be a nerf in lane and a buff late game. A nerf in lane because getting two shield procs on yourself is already real easy, but the values are reduced. A buff late game because once you get to level 5 you'll be able to spam it on cooldown now, rather than having to wait till a fight starts to use it. It'll nullify a lot of poke damage that it wasn't nullifying previously, and be easier to get big shields on the whole team. I like it, actually. The problem with Lux's shield is that the theoretical amount it currently shields is ridiculous, but it takes a miracle to actually get that much effective shielding out of it (or an MF ult). So when everything works perfectly it's overpowered, but most of the time it's not. By reducing the values and at the same time making good shields easier to land, if they get the numbers right they'll be reducing the theoretical threshold while keeping the average values constant.

The other day I was against a D1 vayne player (I can't remember his name - something with "gosu" in it). It was me as Leona and a cait vs him and a Lissandra support. We absolutely dominated them in lane - I started flaming him just to keep him tilting. I knew that if he played the mid/late game well, he could have carried his team. But I wanted to get under his skin and make sure he kept playing poorly - great success. Mind grapes op. But yeah, mental warfare can work wonders.

You don't look like as big of a douche then and it gets them on your side, you know they're flaming him in their team chat, and you don't have to.

I always get in an aggressive sort of mood when I'm able to make plays as a support. Also - apparently I hit 4k posts at some point. Yayyyy broodlord.

Like them or not, LCS won't be the same if Dig/CLG don't make it in. They shouldn't even be in that position, since they finished 3rd and 4th respectively. LCS popularity will drop if either of these teams fail to gain entry to Summer split, and I can't help but think Riot was very short-sighted in allowing this situation to occur. Yes the integrity of the competition is paramount, I'm all for teams being in LCS through merit and not popularity, but don't you think a system where the 3rd and 4th placed teams will disband if they lose 2 series is wrong. Personally I wouldn't watch LCS every week without CLG. (Haven't seen other people talk about this, sorry if it's already been discussed)

(Haven't seen other people talk about this, sorry if it's already been discussed) LPL (The Chinese version of LCS) gives safe haven for the top 6 teams, only the bottom two drop out. That's probably for the best. I'm sure that CLG and dig being in the promotion series will make Riot reevaluate the system.

Its not Riots job to keep "old" teams in the LCS. The whole point of the LCS is that it has created a stable scene where teams like Dig and CLG can die without fear for the overall scene falling.
