How's that?

Fizz and Nami are fish so they both suck, but I heard Nami was one of the most suckiest support there is. I prefer Zyra or Elise over Nami everyday. They both have same or better control than nami, but with way more damage and lane presence.

Nami has 3 forms of cc's and the best single-target heal over time out of any support. I legit think it's just no one's found the right way to abuse her strengths. Everything in her kit, including her passive, is super useful, so there's no way she can be bad.

daydreamin loves nami. i think he'll make her work someday

Isn't Nami's heal one of the most expensive in terms of HP/mana/manapool, too? I remember it being clearly insufficient is used defensively, and needing at least one bounce to be worth the mana spent.

Unless you have tear/chalice/philo(at LEAST 2) you can't really use it just for healing. If they made her autos better she'd be a lot stronger because you would be able to poke by yourself.Maybe increase her auto range slightly or just give her a better animation.

Riot are #1 trolls. Release a patch that gives Anivia a terrible new voice while simultaneously releasing a new 1820 skin with a good voice and a better attack animation.

Nami's strength is in her press-R-and-win full screen initiation.

Lol, Riot matchmaking is hilarious sometimes.
Few friends of mine were playing last night, and they somehow run into the 17th ranked Challenger tier player in 5 man premade. Dear god, the horror that must have been.

speaking of viktor, saw him in an LPL game last week: WOA vs Wayi.
a lot of great viktor plays in that match. WOA went with a semi-aoe comp with Jarvan/Viktor/MF, support Elise and Renekton.
you might say "well who cares WOA and Wayi are last place" but it was a good game and there were a lot of good plays made.

her laning phase is also tough unless you have good synergy with your adc. someone like kog/varus, plus you need actual synergy with the player playing the adc to recognize when to use tidecaller's blessing appropriately, or whether you can bait heal/trades and you can trust your adc to stand close to get the bounce.

The suckiest support is called Soraka not Nami.

Title wave isn't the best as an initiation tool, but it's an amazing counter-engage for all those dive and gap closers.

Lol
I don't necessarily disagree with you Alaric - S3 has been rough for Viktor. I still run MS quints and boots 3 start with him. It can be tough in some match ups, especially when I'm stuck in old ways and refuse to get W until lvl 8 (which has resulted in my demise a few times).
But idk, he's still viable, his laser is still ridiculous. His W - ult combo is amazing (and chaos storm moves waaaaaay faster than tibbers).
I just started grabbing Alacrity boots on him (I forgot they existed until an enemy Ryze got them and he was zooming around the place), which is really nice for his sticking power and stuff.
*shrug* I still love the mechanized russian. I wanted to play him today but I've been last pick all my games, so support bitch for me!

Does anyone know if there's a good way to find Diamond 1 players for a team? I imagine a reddit post wouldn't get upvoted enough..

make a teamliquid post and offer payment to player
I kid, I kid.
Um, adding people who you know are good players or you enjoy playing with in soloq (i know i know) and putting your status as D1 Mid LFTeam (which is what I did) and hopefully after some time you'll get a message from someone (like I luckily did) asking something like "hey dude we've got a ad, jungler, and top but we're still looking for a mid and support. Want to try and get something going?".

Okay, i'll open syndra and kill people.
