Tank Lissandra wants that 40% CDR so she can get the W cooldown down to 6 seconds. That way she teleports in, W's, uses all her invulnerability bullshit, then W's again. So get CDR off of defensive items that grant CDR far more aggressively and efficiently than Athene's does? But athenes has nicer power curve, straight up building abyssal is awkward.

Everytime I go on long streaks of LoL, I start picking up losses towards the end because of it. You don't notice it, but it's there.

Solution: beer
just rampaged HARD as annie - best feeling ever
Was playing a couple Viktor games earlier, got stuck against an anivia and camped by naut - Aniv such a hard matchup for Viktor.
I've found I don't actually know what to do/pick against an anivia.

Lux works well vs Anivia.
I kinda think Lissandra does too but I've only played the matchup once at this point.

Every Anivia matchup is a skill matchup, IMO.

Didn't chauster and svicious not get along like at all?
Isn't kassadin the universal anti anivia pick? Her only way of killing you makes her push HARD and with how strong the current junglers are it should be easy to handle.

Except like ryze. Unless you die to a flash RP gank, you'll take tower by 15 minutes just because of creeps washing up. Survive til 6 and constantly push for a free mid tower.
Most of the time I can kill kassadin's pre-6, but post 6 is a nightmare. Basically impossible to CS from safety even if wave is in the center because between R and Q, you give kassadin 3-4 stacks every wave clearing as fast as you can, and with R alone, it's hideously mana inefficient. Basically you clear 1-2 waves and then base or die. Not a fun matchup. At least you can somewhat prevent roam by pushing very, very hard post 6 every time kassadin leaves lane. Not a matchup where you can walk up to the tower and auto it though.

Hmmm...
When supporting as Sona, it's surprisingly good to just not use Crescendo for initiation ever and just hold onto it. Then during teamfight they are like LOOK A SQUISHY SONA and you get a 4man crescendo and ace them. Weird how almost no progamers do this, I feel like it works a lot better than just flashing in, stunning maybe 1 before others flash away, and then getting instabursted. Of course there's flash-crescendo times as well.
Also makes me wonder why Syndra doesn't supposedly crush more teamfights because after she gets to set up balls(which she naturally does by spamming Q) she gets scatter stuns that are faster and wider than crescendo

Did you not watch bloodwater play? I thought it was universally known in high tier play that sona's ult was a counterinitiate ult....

It's nice to do so when you have the luxury, but if your team doesn't have another massive control ability like that, you kinda have to set up the teamfight to give your teammates the cue, THIS IS IT, GET YOUR JOB DONE.
Same deal with Ashe, I pick her mostly when I DON'T have to initiate with Arrow, so I can sit on it and gib diving Zeds/pick off stragglers/prevent disengages
pretty much a matter of teamcomp, but yeah Crescendo is definitely best served as an aggression trap. Everything's a matter of teamcomp!
